SuggestBot picks the articles you might be interested in based on the articles you've edited and using a number of different techniques: following links from them to other articles, matching articles based on their content, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedia users. It tries to recommend only articles that others have marked as needing work, such as stub articles that need to be made longer, clean-up articles that need writing help, and so on. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you choose to participate we encourage you to leave feedback on these suggestions, which you can most easily do here by editing your user talk page. We'll stop by later to read them.

Revert Made on National Cheng Kung University page

Reason for Revert

An editor writes there is no evidence for my Human Rights abuses comments. Evidence is now added by a member of the NCKU Teacher's Union. But the fact that I won the case is evidence in itself. Editor claims foreign teachers were not protected by the Teachers Law of the ROC. This is contradicted by both court and Ministry of Education (Taipei) rulings. Even if Editor were correct this in itself would prove human rights violations (i.e. discrimination of foreign teachers). So the Editor seems to be admitting what he is denying! These facts can be verified through the ROC Ministry of Education. In addition, this case is fully documented on my blog at http://rdca45.blogspot.com/ -- Cincinattus ( talk) 18:27, 2 November 2010 (UTC) reply

I'm not clear what you mean by your Edit revert summary on the NATIONAL CHENG KUNG UNIVERSITY page that the deleted material was "unsourced." The material is fully sourced here http://rdca45.blogspot.com/ If source material is required on the Wikipedia page I'll be happy to oblige. You may also wish to check the Chinese version of that page, if it hasn't been altered yet. I'm not sure what kind of "sourcing" you wish, but whatever you ask for I will give. There are court documents, letters from the Ministry of Education, summaries of the case from the National Cheng Kung University Teachers Union, etc. What other sources are required? The Ministry of Education in Taipei canceled an illegal dismissal on 8 January 2001. It rejected the university's claim that foreign faculty are not protected by the Teachers Law. But even if that were the case it would, ironically, still prove discrimination at NCKU by any reasonable or international standards.-- Cincinattus ( talk) 10:33, 3 November 2010 (UTC) reply

Your own personal blog does not count as a reliable source, sources need to be from reliable third parties, see Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources-- Jac16888 Talk 14:15, 3 November 2010 (UTC) reply

My Edit on Human Rights Abuses at National Cheng Kung University has been removed several times on the basis of being unsourced. In one edit summary you say that a personal blog is not a source; but there are many public sources (in Chinese) on that blog ( http://rdca45.blogspot.com/), regardless whether it's a personal blog or not. Here's a link ( http://rdca45.blogspot.com/search/label/Letters%20from%20the%20Ministry%20of%20Education) to one source, letters from the Ministry of Education written over a period of nearly two and a half years urging the university to issue retroactive contracts following a favorable appeal ruling on 8 January 2001. These letters are in both the original Chinese and rough English translations. Surely letters written by an official state agency should be adequate sources, as I understand the word. Please tell me if that source is adequate. If not, what more I can do to confirm my sources and will you accept a Chinese-language source. Thank you.-- Cincinattus ( talk) 15:26, 3 November 2010 (UTC) reply

Content hosted on your blog is not reliable either, particularly since you are clearly not a neutral person when it comes to this, and the letters you say are from the ministry, there is no proof that this is the case. By reliable sources we're talking from reputable sources such as news companies etc-- Jac16888 Talk 15:43, 3 November 2010 (UTC) reply

License tagging for File:MoeLetters.JPG

Thanks for uploading File:MoeLetters.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. -- ImageTaggingBot ( talk) 17:07, 3 November 2010 (UTC) reply

A tag has been placed on File:Taipei Ministry Document.pdf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
