It's not actually a typo. Both are actually correct and alternate spellings of the real name for the star Mu Draconis. Your edit will not be reverted, this is just a notification. -RadicalOne--- Contact Me 16:12, 6 December 2009 (UTC) reply

Sorry, it just now sunk in that you are the same person who wrote the PajamasMedia blog entry. I was commentator "Phil".

Managing a conflict of interest on Wikipedia

Information icon Hello, Chasrmartin. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{ request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. — Paleo Neonate – 12:22, 9 September 2020 (UTC) reply

Honestly, after years and years of doing this, the bureaucracy has become very difficult to cope with. The fact is that after years of PJ Media journalism revealing the slant, corruption, and outright graft of the SPLC they simply shouldn't be considered an NPOV source. But I can't correct this and any corrections simply get reverted by clearly NPOV editors. This, as you may know, has driven one of the founders of Wikip[eria to start a competitor attempting to re-establish a neutral source.

I'm open about my connection to PJ Media. There have been repeated scandals concerning other editors concealing their connections, cf, editing of climate change articles. Wikiperia's apparent position is that people libeled by editors have no recourse to correct the record. Charlie (Colorado) ( talk) 13:56, 16 May 2021 (UTC) reply
