Refute

I think that you used the word refute in a wrong sense. The meaning of refute is "to prove (something) to be false or incorrect".

What you wanted to say is:

Slovak editors [...] refute what I was taught at school and I'm refuting what they were taught at school

or

Slovak editors [...] defend what they were taught at school and I'm defending what I was taught at school

RE: Administrators' noticeboard: Just a comment

Although this may be considered late, I really liked what you wrote in the admimistrators' noticeboard here. I tend to notice many similar issues with my primary/secondary education and also with what I have learned at home. Thank you. adamson ( talk) 05:35, 16 July 2012 (UTC) reply

Hi Bizso, please note that you have added the 27 capitals of today's EU to this flag that was supposed to represent a design from the 1950s when countries like Spain, Portugal or Greece were not yet members of the European Coal and Steel Community, and Malta was not even independent. Perhaps you should do some more research about the actual design from those days and which countries were to be represented. Regards, De728631 ( talk) 17:53, 18 January 2013 (UTC) reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
