Can you provide a printed source for your contention that the name is Jackson Roy Kirk. I have been a fan for 35 years, have read dozens of books on the show, and I have never seen the name spelled like this. I've started a thread on this subject on the talk page at Star Trek. If in fact you can provide proof, you're invited to do so there, as well, otherwise others will probably revert the change as well. Cheers. 23skidoo 05:36, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
Brad Lidge lives with his gay lover and Ted Kennedy, not his gay lover, Ted Kennedy. Don't put words in my mouth.
It just made sense to me, however I would be careful about using such verbiage as "[D]on't put words into my mouth", when part of the topic in question deals with male homosexuality, as you are inviting crass comments. Just some advice from an elder.
I am not aware of having removed any info. from Miers' site except perhaps for some wikilinked years which are essentially meaningless, i.e. so and so graduated from college in 1970, which I probably would have changed to so and so graduated from college in 1970. Otherwise I only corrected some syntax and spelling.
Definitely it was inadvertent; I cannot imagine or recall ever having removed an entire paragraph. IF I did so, please forgive me.
Please unblock and reblock this IP. I blocked them 15 mins ago, but, of course, the user can still edit their talk page. I blocked the IP for 24 hours. Your 3 hour block will override mine. Thanks. -- Psy guy Talk 23:05, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
Where did you learn to speak fluent German, French, Spanish and Russian?? Just curious.
I am really not sure what to say. I think there is a bug in the system because my signature was doing the very same thing a few weeks ago. It just kept playing with it and finally got it too work. For comparison here is my signature as copied from my Prefs: [[User:Psy guy|Psy guy]] [[User_talk:Psy_guy|Talk]]
Sorry I can't be more help. -- Psy guy Talk 23:42, 10 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi Brian, Not to get too lengthy - I noticed you reverted the Dickinson College page, for changes that 24.74.14.75 made.
I run a few local sites which I posted on Wiki, before I really understood that they should NOT have been posted. I also removed false information - posted by 24.74.14.75 (specifically regarding gocarlisle.com - which is NOT the official Carlisle Borough website - it is carlislepa.org)
I originally posted from 208.22.58.254, now I have an account: Iwanowicz
My problem is that 24.74.14.75 has put my name and phone number in the history urging people to call about adult spam links - which I never added. This seems to be in retaliation for removing this persons gocarlisle.com link.
Is there a way that you get my name & number off these history pages? This is false and can really hurt my personal and professional reputation.
Thanks in advance Brian. I appreciate the effort that the admin do for this site. I intend to update this site more appropriately in the future.

Hey Bcorr, could you take a look at HBCU outreach program and see if you can sign on. Thanks. - JCarriker 14:02, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
That's really not the sort of behaviour I'd expect from someone with your credentials. The request for an image on the Baja California Rat Snake page was entirely legitimate and, even if you disagree, contribute to the discussion instead of blanking someone's comment. Ben-w 17:11, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi Bcorr,
Although I feel that a photo of a city's sister can enhance the article about the city, I'll respect your wish and won't add the picture of Kyoto to the Boston article again. Fg2 20:52, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
Sorry, but I thought all wikis with more than 50,000 pages deserved a place around the globe.
Thanks
Sorry, I edited your welcome letter... I meant to edit someone's page who the letter appeared on! peace, Sethie 19:06, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
Ummm the article could use some help. The guy whose comments I took out, you took out and another user took out, are just being reverted back by him. I started a rfc user conduct: http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/149.152.216.49&action=edit

I left you a christmas gift in the Talk:Fidel_Castro discussion. Enjoy :)
Hi Jimbo -- I have a content question for you! An anon IP has been editing occasionally over the last few months -- removing the [[Category:Objectivists]] from various articles, including Alan Greenspan and Clarence Thomas. Here are their contribs: Special:Contributions/68.7.212.152. Whenever you get a chance, it would be great if you could check a few diffs and let me know if these are OK or not.
P.S. I'm totally psyched that Wikimania is going to be here in Boston!
Thanks, BCorr| Брайен 01:00, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
Thank you for the note. I understand this may be controversial, and my intent is not to start a fight or be offensive. However, the new facts are no more controversial than the previous edit. I have not given an opinion on the case, and have stated only facts that cite to specific sources. What opinion people form based on the information is entirely up to them. Many facts are controversial, that does not mean they should be unavailable or not discussed.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your help with the TM vandal!!!
ughh!
And, I am confused why you removed the NPOV tag. It was up before the vandal... both Lumiere and I agree the article is not NPOV.
On other pages, I have witnessed that such a tag is never taken down by an individual, always consenus is reached before it is taken down.
Please help me understand your choice! peace Sethie 17:26, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
Perhaps Jimmy Wales considers himself to be an Objectivist, although I don't really see any kind of support for that. I KNOW that Greenspan is not an Objectivist (though he used to be). Two leading Objectivists (Leonard Peikoff and Harry Binswanger) have stated that Greenspan has advocated ideas contrary to Objectivism, and this is the consensus among Objectivists. User:68.7.212.152.
Thanks, BCorr, for watching over my user page. Opus33 17:22, 18 December 2005 (UTC)

Hi Brian. I hadn't initially noticed what was going on at Transcendental meditation - I caught and banned Pock Suppet as a sockpuppet of "Wikipedia is Communism" not nreasonably because he replaced Wikipedia with a redirect to Communism! Then there's the anon who put obscenities on Yoweri Museveni, whom I banned for a week but someone else only banned for 24 hours, so we'll have to see which one sticks... -- Arwel ( talk) 15:29, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

Hi. Regarding your comments on the R&I page I must have been confused by the fact that you continued a conversation started by User:Invsblmn. I was certain that I talked the to the same editor all the time. The original question by him/her was unsigned, which may explain my error, but I should have paid more attention to your signature. If I have used a tone of voice that offended you (by implying that your knowledge of this area was less than it was) then I am deeply sorry. Arbor 06:19, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

Personally I dont care what you dont like you are being a baby over this. stop reverting its not your article to say you dont like this and that its the communities and if you will not stop i have get help if i have to. This is a Warning.
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

I've received a complaint from this user about your blocking him. I saw in the block log that you blocked him for multiple instances of vandalism and threats to block other users. I´m not a celebrity, and I´m amused that someone considers me that for my stand on abortion. I hope someone take my user nick out of that list while it´s time. (lol) I could list almost all the popes, if I wanted, or all the great christian writers in that list. The ideal will be really o abolish that category. Martin Luther King according to Cardinal O´Connor, was really a pro-life supporter, as much embarassing it is for many people. This site, and others, say that, and as he was a real christian, I don´t find that so difficult to believe. But to avoid polemics, his name probably should be left out of the list.
