Stray reference

I moved a reference you added, but I'm not clear what you intended it to cite; please check. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 14:39, 13 April 2024 (UTC) reply

Hi Andy, thank you! I was overwhelmed by the 'edit source' section. I wanted to add the GRO references for Victoria Monk's birth.
The England & Wales Civil Registration Birth Index ref is as follows:
Year 1882 Qtr Dec District Fylde
Vol 08E Page 698.
Can you do anything with that? The references cited previously are incorrect. She was an actor, she naturally knocked a few years off her age in census' & newspaper reports!
As I couldn't do this I linked to the CMR website which I recognise is a self-published source but contains good source material and think it should have a mention.
Many thanks,
Alison. Alison Young ( talk) 09:38, 14 April 2024 (UTC) reply
