Welcome to Wikipedia

Hello Admadks! Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. If you decide that you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. You may also push the signature button located above the edit window. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. Below are some recommended guidelines to facilitate your involvement. Happy Editing! -- youngamerican ( wtf?) 12:35, 13 May 2010 (UTC) reply

Also, see WP:COPY before cutting-and-pasting info directly from Yahoo Finance. I totally agree that the Champion Industries article needs some serious work, but the writing needs to be original. youngamerican ( wtf?) 12:37, 13 May 2010 (UTC) reply

RE: wtf?

Wikipedia prefers third party sources, much like the Yahoo Finance article, but they have to be used as sources, much like a college paper. One cannot cut and paste from another source. Rather, those sources should be used to inform the writing on the article here. this means that your writing here can be released under a free license, unlike the stuff from YF which is likely under some sort of restrictive copyright.

Flip through some of those links in the welcome message for more information. youngamerican ( wtf?) 11:09, 14 May 2010 (UTC) reply
