Thanks for the bubble tea! It made my day better. I will Spread the WikiLove on to other users. Happy holidays to you.-- Zink Dawg -- 21:28, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
I placed these images on the article three years ago they are my copyright. I am from Lucknow and a journalist with the Telegraph in London. I took these photographs in 1980 when I was with the Reuters news agency. I have the original photographs and film they were not used by Reuters or purchased by them. Kindly restore all the images on the Babri Masjid article which you have deleted. Else I will consider this an act of vandalism on your part. I will also make representations that you be removed as a wiki admin. My Images have been given freely to Wikipedia and I have put them in the public domain. I you wish further evidence please let me have your private e mail. Do not in future be so officious in removing images unless you have received a specify notification on breach of copyright. Jopling100 ( talk) 14:16, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
Do you think you could make a svg map from the image located here? Use different colors (though stick with a subtle palette) and keep your font and caps lock consistent (which they didn't do in this map). I just want the location names and the road names (they are borders in most cases). The alphanumerics in red, green, and blue should be removed. Should be sweat-of-the-brow enough to get your own CC license. upstate NYer 21:05, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
I think you may have placed the wrong delete rationale here.-- Rockfang ( talk) 23:59, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
I was just wondering how complicated it might be for you (or anyone) to do a New York county formation map that would rotate through images like the first map at History of China? What I would love to have is the 74 maps from here recreated and then able to be "played" in rotation... I know that would be basically asking you to draw 74 maps and then do whatever it is you do to make them like the map in History of China article... Is this something that would take too much time to do? If so I wont even ask you or anyone to do it, right now I'm trying to see how much effort/time and if it is even realistic to do. Please take the time to review nominations for deletion. While cleanup is always appreciated, I think it would be best to consider appropriate fair use rationales for fair use images before tagging them for deletion. I mean this with all due respect to a fellow editor, but I think it behooves us to consider improving the encyclopedia before deleting material. Thoughts? — BQZip01 — talk 06:31, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
You may go ahead and remove it, since the article it resided on is now defunct (redirects to another page). -- Mike Allen talk · contribs 03:22, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Hi ZooFari. Thanks for pointing out that File:Front cover art for The Evil that Men Do.jpg had become an orphan. It turns out that an anonymous editor had vandalized the article for which it was intended. This has since been remedied. Cheers, GentlemanGhost ( talk) 19:58, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Hi. I know that working with image copyrights is a thankless, necessary task. But it would have been pretty easy for you to figure out how File:Bulletin cover (Belgium).jpg ended up being orphaned and to rectify the situation (as I just did). I had written the fair use justification when I uploaded the image and the history of The Bulletin (Brussels weekly) can explain the rest. I don't really mind: I know the ins and outs of Wikipedia but had I been a random newbie, I'd be pretty frustrated with the situation. Just sayin... Pichpich ( talk) 03:03, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
I've "adopted" the orphaned image to the page, and subsequently removed the orphan tag. Thank you for your diligence! :> Doc9871 ( talk) 08:38, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your edit. However, in addition to (correctly) changing "miniscule" to "minuscule," I believe you've (accidentally/erroneously) changed "humanist" to "human." Could you make another edit? Thanks! By the way, is it normal for the thumbnail not to reflect your image edit after so long? Wareh ( talk) 20:00, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
I know you may hate this... but please try to change the perspective of the map from the present image to the second image. You are the SVG god, and this one has needed done for a while. Thank you so much, whatever you choose! Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) ( talk) 11:43, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
