Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; however, please remember the essential rule of respecting copyrights. Edits to Wikipedia, such as your edit to the page Draft:The Octagon, may not contain material from copyrighted sources unless used with permission. It is almost never okay to copy extensive text out of a book or website and paste it into a Wikipedia article with little or no alteration, though you can clearly and briefly quote copyrighted text in the right circumstances. Content that does not comply with this legal rule must be removed. For more information on this, see:
If you still have questions, there is the teahouse, or you can and someone will be along to answer it shortly. As you get started, you may find the pages below to be helpful.
I hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! — Diannaa ( talk) 14:14, 11 October 2020 (UTC)
Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.
The article has been assessed as Stub-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. It is commonplace for new articles to start out as stubs and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.
If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.

Hi Ziad Rashad! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as
typo corrections or reverting obvious
vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see
Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
For the purposes of editing restrictions in the ARBPIA topic area, the "area of conflict" shall be defined as encompassing
Also,
500/30 Rule: All IP editors, users with fewer than 500 edits, and users with less than 30 days' tenure are prohibited from editing content within the area of conflict. On primary articles, this prohibition is preferably to be enforced by use of extended confirmed protection (ECP) but this is not mandatory. On pages with related content, or on primary articles where ECP is not feasible, the 500/30 Rule may be enforced by other methods, including page protection, reverts, blocks, the use of pending changes, and appropriate edit filters. Reverts made solely to enforce the 500/30 Rule are not considered edit warring. The sole exceptions to this prohibition are:1. Editors who are not eligible to be extended-confirmed may use the Talk: namespace to post constructive comments and make edit requests related to articles within the topic area, provided they are not disruptive. Talk pages where disruption occurs may be managed by any of the methods noted in paragraph b). This exception does not apply to other internal project discussions such as AfDs, WikiProjects, RfCs, noticeboard discussions, etc.
2. Editors who are not eligible to be extended-confirmed may not create new articles, but administrators may exercise discretion when deciding how to enforce this remedy on article creations. Deletion of new articles created by editors who do not meet the criteria is permitted but not required. Doug Weller talk 17:14, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
3. One Revert Restriction (1RR): Each editor is limited to one revert per page per 24 hours on any edits made to content within the area of conflict. Reverts made to enforce the 500/30 Rule are exempt from the provisions of this motion. Also, the normal exemptions apply. Editors who violate this restriction may be blocked by any uninvolved administrator.
Note that this means your edits on such pages (which you aren't yet eligible to make) may be reverted by anyone at any time. These restrictions are stricter than those in most other areas because of the problems that we've had in this area. Doug Weller talk 13:40, 24 December 2020 (UTC)

Hello Ziad Rashad, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Daulatpur Chandi, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There is sufficient context to identify the subject of the article. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. JJP...MASTER! [talk to] JJP... master? 23:04, 8 March 2021 (UTC)

Reply to your message: Hello, good greetings! I made some changes in the current article following an old article which was authentic based on its subject. The current article does not clearly specify in which region of Bangladesh "Naga Morich" is mostly cultivated and where it is known widely. The Naga Morich is one of the traditional foods in the Sylhet region of Bangladesh and also the word "Naga" is actually used by Sylhetis i will leave a link of the old article here <a href=" https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Naga_Morich&oldid=576151141"</a> i'm going to re-edit the article for now, for more information please do more research on Naga Morich and Sylhet. Hi Ziad Rashad. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Dear Ziad, This morning I have tried to edit Sir Paul Marshall's wiki page as something that has been recently added is factually incorrect. I work for a PR firm and he is our client.
This reference under his personal life 'In December 2020, Marshall told the Financial Times that he is currently exploring overseas investment opportunities citing the effects on the UK economy caused by the Covid-19 pandemic' is factually incorrect and the when you click on the source to read the story, it is not there - "Exploring Alternate Investments - A focus on Covid19 and the..." m-magazine.co.uk. 15 December 2020. Retrieved 20 February 2021. Please can you let me know how we can remove this? Apologies for my basic knowledge of editing Wikipedia pages. Many thanks, Tmcrowan ( talk) 10:28, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
Dear Ziad, In repsonse to your last e mail. I apologise that I didn't put in a reason in the first edit I made of Sir Paul's page, it is because I am new to doing this. I realised this error and put the edit reason in the second time I tried to edit it and this again was rejected. I will try again but don't wish to annoy you or you think I'm being rude by continuing to attempt to edit it. I ticked 'minor edit' the second time and put a reason so perhaps that was wrong and the reason it got rejected? Tmcrowan ( talk) 10:45, 15 March 2021 (UTC)
Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.
