Hello Zaybot:

First, let me say welcome to Wikipedia; we're glad you're with us! I hate for one of your first messages to be on a negative subject, but we have a username policy here on Wikipedia that encourages users not to use "bot" in thier name unless they are an automated robot account approved by the community. It is confusing for many users to see "bot" in a non-bot user's name; they're likely to think you're a computer program! Anyhow, I wanted to let you know this, and let you know that you can pick a new username and keep all your existing contributions and settings; you can post a note at Wikipedia:Changing username telling us what name you'd like to change to, and we'll take care of it for you right away. If you need any help, or have any questions, please feel free to ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome, and my apologies for having to bring this up so soon after you arrived. Yours, Essjay ( TalkConnect) 14:28, 21 May 2006 (UTC) reply
