Bonjour,
CyrilB 22:37, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi.
I've been creating translated copies by hand, of communes of the P-de-C and Somme
by cut-and-paste of the French versions.
As all the information (maire, max.alt, population etc) is in the :fr: versions, a bot to transfer from :fr: to :en: is all that's needed, I reckon.
Any text in French would have to be translated afterwards, but headings and regular text
like
"is a
commune in the
Somme
département in the
Picardie region of
France"
could be included easily enough. Unfortunately, I haven't a clue how the bots are set up at all.
Thanks

For taking up the call for translation at The Administrators' Noticeboard and volunteering your time to help out with User Marcopolis. Your helpfulness is much appreciated. :) Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:03, 21 February 2008 (UTC) |
I've written this article, with much material taken from the French article, which is a Featured Article there. Would like to get this to GA status initially, any comments would be welcome. Mjroots ( talk) 20:08, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,
