This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Ycamsolutions, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{ unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{ unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Y-cam Solutions, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Wuh Wuz Dat 16:07, 6 December 2010 (UTC) reply

Dec, no response to the below questions for 2 days. Please feel free to request unblocking again when you are prepared to answer the questions below. This is just to remove the stalled unblock from the queue. Syrthiss ( talk) 12:53, 8 December 2010 (UTC) reply

Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. ( talk→  BWilkins  ←track) 16:45, 6 December 2010 (UTC) reply

I am not convinced that you are here to do something else except spam your company.  Sandstein  11:33, 15 December 2010 (UTC) reply
What edits do you intend to make if you are unblocked? How will you avoid violating the three principles above? Hersfold ( t/ a/ c) 18:27, 13 December 2010 (UTC) reply
I've just seen so many people determined to use Wikipedia to write about their own businesses, who say that they understand the conflict of interest guidelines, but then go on to write about their own businesses anyway. I feel like I need a little more information from this user about his plans for future editing, before I can evaluate this unblock request in any meaningful way. If he's going to continue writing about his business, we'll just have to block the new account again anyway. - FisherQueen ( talk · contribs) 15:01, 14 December 2010 (UTC) reply
