Well, the thing is, no one did these past few weeks. I haven't checked my watchlist that much, so I often miss when the signpost is released. Ragesoss used to post notices on my talk page, but he stopped doing that. However, he said that he would start doing that again, so you'll probably get one next week. What is going on here: [1] The bot is supposed to be wiping the sandbox every 12 hours. Yet he was basically stalking my edits on the sandbox to the point where I had saved it and went to try it on another page to see how it looked only to see nothing because the bot had wiped it in a minute. The bot cleans if if it meets one of two conditions:

1. 12 hours have passed, or
2. the header is removed.

When you were making your tests, you removed the header. That triggered #2, and as such, it was reverted. ( X! ·  talk)  ·  @060  ·  00:26, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

Where was it decided to no longer allow user pages created tools? (link if poss)

Hi, Ikip. Unfortunately, the toolserver database is down, and my pages created tool requires it to work. This is a common problem across all tools which use the database, including the edit counter, sulutil, and others. Should be up sometime in the next few days (I hope). Hi there, just to let you know that there is currently a thread at WP:BON regarding the way which ClueBot II archives the template sandboxes (which SoxBot also archives). The thread suggests that ClueBot archive a certain time after the last edit instead of the way it currently does, I note that SoxBot currently waits a much longer time then ClueBot (unless the header is removed), and there has thus far been no problem with it raised at this thread. It seems that many users on WP:CHU are trying to make their username lowercase (which is of course not possible). I'm posting this here instead of the bug report page since I don't think it belongs there, since it's not a bug report? Anyway, I'm wondering, for editors who have few edits, your edit counter shows the most edited articles per namespace for that editor. However, for editors with many edits, it doesn't show the most edited articles. Is there any way to force that to appear? Gary King ( talk) 05:23, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Unfortunately, no. It's a huge memory hog, and in order to not take up my fair share of resources, I've disabled it for high edit counts. In addition, it adds over 5 extra minutes for people with over 60K edits sometimes. ( X! ·  talk)  ·  @342  ·  07:12, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

The last edit you made to the rfatally template seems to have caused it to break on the live RfA's, so I went ahead and typed in the stats manually for now, leaving a helpful edit summary so that people will know what I did. Hey. While this revert was certainly justified, the subsequent last chance warning on the user's talk page seemed excessive to me, taking everything into consideration. Based on the topic, the style of the edit, and the user name, I'm assuming this is a young kid making inexperienced, but good-faith edits in an attempt to improve the encyclopedia. Right here is the best place. I deleted the article because it qualified under speedy deletion criteria G12: Copyright infringement. Even if you wrote it yourself, it is required to be openly licensed under either the GFDL or the CC-BY licences. This is because Wikipedia is specifically licensed so that anyone can use any of its content anywhere, and if there's copyrighted content, then that interferes with the free license. Would it be possible for you to add the capability to include all wikis in a single run of your Edit Counter? For example, my user name is currently registered in four wikis: English Wikipedia, Simple English Wikipedia, English Wiktionary and Simple English Wiktionary. It would be nice if I could get counts and logs of all four wikis combined. Maybe by adding asterisks in either or both of the two "wiki" boxes (other than user name) in your entry form. Just a suggestion.

Oh and by the way, I agree you're not the number 10 but are you sure you're not the numeral MMMDCXXVMMMDCCC ( ten factorial -- 3,628,800, in Roman numerals)?

That would likely not be possible. Even with a single wiki, it takes a long time to calculate. With 4 wikis, it would just be unbearable. Additionally, it would be too much of a CPU hog on the Toolserver, and I have to be conservative with my CPU usage there. ( X! ·  talk)  ·  @640  ·  14:21, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
