I noticed your recent contributions of "Philip Bay" and "Devin Howell." Please note that Wikipedia has a speedy deletion policy and these two articles meet the criteria for such, as they are very short and are biographies of unremarkable people. Devin Howell has already been tagged, once by me, and once before by Magichands, whose tag you removed without explanation or justification. Furthermore, adding a stub template or categories to an article does not make the subject any more notable. Though Wikipedia's open nature may tempt you to create articles about people whom you know, realize that not every person - in this case a musician - is worth noting. But no harm done, I just wanted you to be aware of the policy and act more discerningly toward your contributions in the future. -- Wiki wøw 23:09, 23 January 2007 (UTC) reply

License tagging for Image:Philip Bay at the keyboard (january 2006).jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Philip Bay at the keyboard (january 2006).jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Notability of Robert Stan

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Robert Stan, by Ispy1981 ( talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Robert Stan seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Robert Stan, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it did not nominate Robert Stan itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. -- Android Mouse Bot 2 16:40, 2 July 2007 (UTC) reply
