While I understand the annoyance at using lower case letters for species names, it is part of Wikipedia's standard writing style to do so. Grutness... wha? 01:23, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks very much for your kind reply, I have changed them all back. It seems to me that wikipedia can get away with this due to hyperlinking, in other contexts using terms like great skua and little gull is just a source of confusion and I am part of a campaign to change this trend: http://analternativenaturalhistoryofsussex.blogspot.com/2022/02/sign-this-post-to-support-capitalising.html WelchsUK ( talk) 10:15, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
