Hello Gatwech Gai! Your additions to Ahram Canadian University have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. â Diannaa ( talk) 23:35, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for contributing to the article
Nuer people. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be
verifiable and attributed to
reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or
mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a
circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at
Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at
Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you.

Your edit to Nuer Genocide has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for information on how to contribute your work appropriately. For legal reasons, Wikipedia strictly cannot host copyrighted text or images from print media or digital platforms without an appropriate and verifiable license. Contributions infringing on copyright will be removed. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or imagesâyou must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. â Diannaa ( talk) 15:20, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to move pages to bad titles contrary to naming conventions or consensus, as you did at Nuer massacre, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not move this again; you need consensus. See WP:RM. Drmies ( talk) 17:31, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Talk:Nuer massacre#Using the "Genocide" description. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. FuzzyMagma ( talk) 09:00, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Juba Nuer Massacre, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. You need to wait for the discussion to ends and you need to integrate the two articles properly. FuzzyMagma ( talk) 18:52, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions, you seemed to act as if you were the owner of a page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please do not revert my edit without first addressing the issues on the talk. I think I have warned enough by now FuzzyMagma ( talk) 17:46, 14 June 2024 (UTC)

Scribd is a self-publishing platform and is considered generally unreliable. Anyone can upload any document they want and there is no assurance that it hasn't been manipulated. Many documents on Scribd's self-publishing platform violate copyrights; linking to them from Wikipedia violates WP:COPYVIOEL and WP:COPYVIO policy, per WP:RSP. If you want to use A Bloody Nile by Tim Edwards as a source, then find a copy of the published book by a reputable publishing company. Isaidnoway (talk) 23:50, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
In addition to what Isaidnoway posted above, the changes I made to the article (that you subsequently reverted) were done to bring the article more inline with MOS:MOS and other relevant Wikipedia policies and guidelines. I made a lot of changes with one edit, but perhaps it would've been better to have broken things up to make them easier to understand. I did leave an edit summary containing links to relevant guideline pages explaing why some of the changes were made, but again that might've made things more confusing. anyway, for future reference, if you come across an edit like that again and don't understand why it was made, it might be better to ask about it first on the article's talk page before reverting and possibly reintroducing stylistic and other errors that had been cleaned up back into the article.
âFinally, please don't remove posts from article talk pages made by others unless there's a really good policy based reason for doing as explained in WP:TPO. An article talk page can be archived is it starts to get too long, but Talk:Nuer massacre isn't really even close to that point yet. If you post something and nobody replies, you can remove it as long as too much time has passed; however, removing posts by others is generally not a good thing to do unless there's really something wrong with the post from a Wikipedia policy standpoint. -- Marchjuly ( talk) 03:32, 20 July 2024 (UTC)
