{{helpme}} Your question. -- Wandev ( talk) 13:40, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
I attempted to edit the article "Service a la russe" in a citation missing location. I was unable to successfully add the citation and wrote to Wikipedia for assistance. I did not receive a response. My citation was to the book "Charlemagne's Tablecloth" and I provided citation references. The book discussed the arrival in England of service a la russe, replacing in popularity service a la francaise. I would still like to know how to edit an article by supplying an omitted citation. Thank you.
...later caught on in [[England]]. {{Fact|date=July 2007}}
{{Fact|date=July 2007}}
is the thing that causes it to say "
citation needed", so you should remove that bit, and replace it with a reference. The reference should begin with <ref> and end with </ref>. Whatever you put in-between those will be the reference. For example, you could put something like this;...later caught on in [[England]].<ref>"The book of Chzz", Aardvark Books, 2009. </ref>
