Reliable sources

You need to read up on what is and what is not acceptable as a reliable source. Wikia is not one. 69.181.253.230 ( talk) 01:26, 28 March 2013 (UTC) reply

Then please, enlighten me as to the proper method to give credit for obviously plagiarized content. Utter solitude ( talk) 01:28, 28 March 2013 (UTC) reply
I will mention that both Utter and I are administrators from the Once Upon a Time wikia, which is located at www.onceuponatime.wikia.com. And only just today we found out whole paragraphs of history summary contents, which as far as both she and I know, which been honestly edited in and written on the wikia by various users, is suddenly now on these Wikipedia pages. That is not right. We were trying to find out how this happened, and many of the articles that were created for Once Upon a Time on Wikipedia were done by a user called sonofaphrodite, who we both know is a user on the Once Upon a Time wikia as well. Word for word, if you compare the pages of Snow White, Mary Margaret Blanchard, Emma Swan, Evil Queen, Regina Mills and who knows what other pages on this Wikipedia you *will* see that he obviously copied the summaries from Once Upon a Time wikia. Perhaps you will notice if you read through and compare pages side to side, you will see various sentences that are the same on both pages such as the Snow White page on Wikipedia and the Snow White page on the Wikia. There is no way sonofaphrodite could have written all that himself with every single word being the same as the Wikia page. I point the blame on sonofaphrodite because he is the one who created several of the Once Upon a Time Wikipedia pages on here if you looked at the history edits for when the pages were first created. If what you say is true and wikia is *not* a credible source, then how can this information possibly be allowed to be edited in on Wikipedia? Applegirlz ( talk) 01:46, 28 March 2013 (UTC) reply
And if you want examples, I have them lined up for you. Please take a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Emma_Swan&oldid=536181531 for the Wikipedia page, which was sonofaphrodite's edit right after the creation of the page. Now look at http://onceuponatime.wikia.com/wiki/Emma_Swan?oldid=155889 on the same day (February 2nd, when the same info was added in on the Wikipedia page!) and tell me what you see from reading through both. How is that not plagiarism ? Now look at the Wikipedia's Snow White page edit from February 3rd: http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Snow_White_(Once_Upon_a_Time)&oldid=536334780 And look at the Wikia's page from February 3rd: http://onceuponatime.wikia.com/wiki/Snow_White?oldid=156078 Look at the Evil Queen's page on Wikipedia from February 5th: http://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Evil_Queen_(Once_Upon_a_Time)&oldid=536678063 Now look at the Wikia's page from Februrary 7th: http://onceuponatime.wikia.com/wiki/Evil_Queen?oldid=157054 Applegirlz ( talk) 01:56, 28 March 2013 (UTC) reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for your disruption caused by edit warring and violation of the three-revert rule at Regina Mills. During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{ unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
