Welcome to Wikipedia. When adding categories to a page, please use the most specific categories. For example, Category:American action thriller films is a subcategory of Category:American action films, so you don't need to add Category:American action films. For exceptions and more info see Wikipedia:CAT#Categorizing_pages. Happy editing. Paradoctor ( talk) 00:23, 23 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi Tomwikiman! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Tomwikiman, please stop editing the genre for the film Collateral. The film is not an action movie; it's a crime thriller. You are involved with pointless WP:3RR, and I suggest the edit should be kept as a crime thriller. - Theironminer ( talk) 12:32 AM, 22 July, 2014
Thanks for coming out, EdJohnston. Don't worry about the blocking, he's already been reported and I'm awaiting a response. - Theironminer ( talk) 9:21 AM, July 29, 2014 — Preceding undated comment added 13:21, 29 July 2014 (UTC)

Hello T. Thank you for the barnstar. Please note that per WP:BURDEN new entries to articles like the genres that you want to add to an article need to come with a reliable source that verifies that film is considered to be part of that genre. In other words it isn't what you or I think the film is - it is what WP:SECONDARY sources say it is. Learning how to edit here can be tricky. You can always as for assistance at the WP:HELPDESK or at the WP:TEAROOM. MarnetteD| Talk 02:38, 1 September 2014 (UTC)
