Reliable sources

Hi, you seem to have been here long enough for me to spare you the default template. Just as a reminder, when adding content to articles, it must be based on proper reliable sources. IMDB is not such a source, because most of its content is user generated (so it is not appropriate, like citing Wikipedia is inappropriate). A full list of sources which you should be aware of is available at WP:RSP. Cheers, RandomCanadian ( talk / contribs) 03:28, 24 January 2021 (UTC) reply

@ RandomCanadian: Which edit of mine is this referring to, exactly? Toggaftnaig ( talk) 12:30, 24 January 2021 (UTC) reply

Your recent edits in Masturbation

Hi Toggaftnaig! In your recent edits of the article "Masturbation", you have used insulting language in your edit summaries. It's okay to be frustrated sometimes, of course, but "fuck off" is definitely too much. Also, as far as I can see it came completely unprompted.

Anyway, I've requested for that particular comment to be deleted and look forward to working with you civilly in the future. Regards -- Yhdwww ( talk) 12:56, 13 February 2021 (UTC) reply

@Toggaftnaig: Please take a hint: Wikipedia requires collaboration. "Fuck off" and "unsourced shit" in edits at Masturbation are not helpful. If you cannot find another way to express the reason for an edit, you will have to not make that edit. Alternatively, find another website. Johnuniq ( talk) 22:23, 13 February 2021 (UTC) reply

Never Rarely Sometimes Always - Kieth Merrill edited and restored - is this what your meant?

I fixed the voice and punctuation. Not sure what else here isn't fact as reported in Variety. What does padding have to do with this review?

Pre One Academy Award voter, filmmaker Kieth Merrill, refused to screen the film due to its subject matter. He is quoted as having “zero interest in watching a woman cross state lines so someone can murder her unborn child.” Eliza Hittman in response speculated that other voters were also not screening the film due to the subject matter. It's unclear if Merrill understood that the screenplay addressed rape and possible incest when he stated that he does in fact support abortion in some extreme circumstances. His refusal was based on a synopsis that he noted "didn’t meet his criteria of entertainment — or coincide with his personal values."

In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored.
