I realize MobyGames is a reasonably respected website, but it's a bit distressing to see how many links you've added to that website. It really looks like that you work for MobyGames or are in some way affiliated with them. It might be helpful if you made other constructive edits besides just adding external links, as that looks very controversial. Chicken Wing 23:50, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Please stop adding indiscriminate links to Mobygames. There is an ongoing discussion Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Video_games#MobyGames_policy.3F about these links, many of which lead to less content than is contained on the related Wikipedia article. Please review your links and consider which are really appropriate under WP:EL. Continuing to add Mobygames links that contain little or no content will probably be viewed as spam WP:SPAM. I encourage you to contribute to the ongoing discussion before continuing your pattern of editing. Nposs 01:53, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
Please reconsider your decision to link to the Underdogs site given that the entry concerned appears to contain a possible copyright violation ShakespeareFan00 12:42, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading Image:The Bizarre Adventures of Woodruff and the Schnibble ingame.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot ( talk) 05:25, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
TnS : You've received this message as you are listed as a WikiProject Horror Participant. As you may have noticed, WikiProject Horror has suffered from a lack of direction and coordination of late. A suggestion on how to improve the Project and maintain it as a viable resource has been placed up for discussion here. As a member of the Project, your voice is valued and your input is requested. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC) |
