With your posting to talk:genocides in history#Massacres of Poles in Volhynia, it is not enough for us as editors to decide if an event was a massacre to do so would be original research which is not done on Wikipedia. We are more like a news organization. For example in the article genocides in history we colate the claims made by others (usually a court ruling, a government, an NGO, an historian or a comparative genocide scholar) that an event was a genocide. To meet the neutral point of view policy if others have disagreed and presented a different point of view, we also include those as well. I hope this helps. -- PBS ( talk) 11:20, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
