Hi Thinkadoodle! You add a section by clicking on the tab "new section" on top of the Talk page. You write a Subject/headline in the appropriate space, and your text. Click on Save page, and you have added a section. It will automatically appear at the bottom of the page. (Adding a section in the middle of a page makes it hard for other editors to find it.) Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (United States) are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic or unrelated topics. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. While it's understandable that one might ask for advice on a Wikipedia talk page, it's not what they are for. Please use Google or some other web search to find a chat room where you can ask for personal help. Cheers. Joja lozzo 23:33, 30 November 2014 (UTC)
