Richard Parry (born 1983) is an English visual artist. Writing in Dazed & Confused Magazine art critic Lucy Morris stated, "Richard Parry gently handles irony to cast a satirical shadow with his work. His pieces often take a sardonic message and work in a sense of humour to produce art that belies their depth of meaning." [1]

Life Parry was born in Hull, the East Riding of Yorkshire, England in 1983 and graduated from the University of London in 2006, with a BA (Joint Honours) in Fine Art & the History of Art. He remained in London where he started collaborating with many other artists including Martin Creed and Merlin Carpenter on the experimental New Dome project

Work Parry exhibits and generates projects in museums and galleries internationally including Bloomberg SPACE, London and Christie's Auctioneers, London. Parry has completed public Land Art projects, including at the Waters of Leith, for the Edinburgh Annuale, the North Sea, for Creative Scotland; Laguna di Venezia, for the 54th Venice Biennale. Richard Parry's paintings are catalogued in public collections including Goldsmiths College, London [2] In 2010, his work was on show at The National Gallery of Zimbabwe in the Harare International Festival of the Arts in a presentation featuring 15 souvenir African blankets printed by local screenprinters with the Luis Vuitton monogram. In 2011 Parry was awarded the Dazed and Confused / Converse Emerging Artist Award
