This is an interesting exercise. I wouldn't recommend a sortable table, as the sortability doesn't really work. I'm also not terribly keen on the use of colours, as on tables showing political offices, colour usually shows political party affiliation. Just to let you know, the offices of Foreign Secretary and Home Secretary did not exist until 1782 - the responsibilities were held by the Southern Secretary and the Northern Secretary.
