For adding the flags of various small communities in West Virginia. These would otherwise be unknown to the outside world if not for you. Keep up the good work! Blsii ( talk) 18:33, 10 July 2022 (UTC) |
Thank you for your efforts in vectorizing flags that I've noticed so far in several city articles I follow. I am currently serving on a committee in Kent, Ohio, to design a new flag as the current "official" flag from 1975 is virtually unknown to the point even city leaders stated the city didn't have a flag. That said, I did want to ask about a recent flag. In the flag for the neighboring city of Stow, Ohio, File:Flag of Stow, Ohio.svg, the punctuation after "Stow" shows a period ("Stow. Ohio"), which obviously came from the original graphic. I noticed in a picture of an actual flag that it has the correct punctuation ("Stow, Ohio"). Would it be possible for you to update that on the vector? Thank you! -- JonRidinger ( talk) 15:46, 20 July 2022 (UTC)

I do have some feedback for you, though: I am reminding you once again, to please see your talk page on Wikimedia Commons. You are not able to attach your own copyright to a flag that uses simplistic-looking shapes.
Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
