Welcome!
Hello, Athleek123, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{ helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page.
As you are new to wikipedia, you might not be aware of this, but if you create a article is short, then it could be deleted. In order to prevent it from deletion, try making a STUB of the article. If you will keep a Stub template in the bottom of the page, then it will not be deleted.
How to make a stub is stated
Here.
And if you need any further help, I m ready to help you and feel free to ask for any guidance to me. Thank You. --

I see what you're saying, but if there's enough information in a new article to make a stub, then there's enough to avoid an A1 deletion anyway (and vice versa: if there's not enough text to pass A1, there's not enough to make a stub, either). To be precise, a stub must contain "adequate context", as opposed to the "insufficient context" necessary for speedy deletion. Thus, it's the content of a new article, rather than the tagging, which determines whether or not it's kept. Yunshui 雲 水 14:25, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

You cannot PROD it because the editor uses source inplace of references.
You can have {{subst:prod blp}} when there in no third party source to vrify the content. In short, if the article has any link to reliable source, then you cannot PROD it.
For any questions, feel free to ask me. I am here to help. Thank you and Happy editing! Yash t 101 :) 08:28, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
It is good to see your energy in tagging pages and especially mine.
There are few facts that you dont know which I might like to make clear:
You are doing really good work to see that the pages are proper and that your edit count keeps on increasing. But take care a little. I just informed you before you make any further mistakes. Keep up the good work but with caution. Happy editing! Yash t 101 :) 07:01, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
One note: Yash is wrong about two of the points above. On #1, just because a person uses ref tags does not mean that LINKROT does not apply--per the template docs, "A bare URL is a link to a website with no identifying information except the link itself." Any time there is a link without a title, or author, or publisher, or at least something to identify what it's supposed to be linking to, the linkrot template apples. Second, just having an external link is not enough to qualify for "unreferenced". If, for example, someone makes a page about themselves, or a company, or a band, and the only thing that is provided is a link to that person/org/band's website, SNS, etc., then that is still an unreferenced article. However, Yasht would be correct that if a page has newspaper articles or other reliable sources, but their put in an EL section, then nofootnotes would be the right tag. Yasht, I'm not sure where you're getting your info from, but it's best to check the template's documentation before giving advice like that. Qwyrxian ( talk) 11:18, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove
Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in
Articles for deletion debates, as you did with
Philadelphia Fever (WPSL). Otherwise, it may be difficult to create
consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please
comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a
bot about
this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please
report it.

You just reported User:202.62.116.225 for vandalism to WP:AIV. Could you please point out any edits of theirs in the last month that are vandalism? I don't even think the ones they were warned for were vandalism. Sure, many of them are unsourced or malformatted, but this does not meet the definition in WP:VANDAL. Am I just missing something? Re: Cacouna, Quebec (Indian reserve): There is no prohibition in Wikipedia against having a phrase as the target of a wikilink, where appropriate. See for instance Wikipedia:Piped link, where an example of this is given (see the part after "It will occasionally be useful to link to a fuller explanation of a phrase...").
The general guideline is simply that the link should be intuitive, that is, the reader should not be surprised by the result when they click on a link, as per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking#Piped links. -- P.T. Aufrette ( talk) 15:15, 28 March 2012 (UTC)
I wrote that article word by word, using multiple authoritative sources in French, English and Korean. I am a British-born professor of English literature and a professional translator from Korean. I cannot understand why you would think that this article (part of a longer paper due to be published in an academic journal) was a machine translation from Korean and I have therefore removed the comment as deeply insulting. I do not think that it needs stylistic revision, either, but anyone who sees problems is welcome to improve it. Perhaps my keenness to indicate the Chinese characters for names and titles misled you? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ansonjae ( talk • contribs) 01:51, 29 March 2012 (UTC)
Hi there. I noticed you tagged a handful of articles with capitalization tags a couple days ago. I reviewed all of the tagged articles, and didn't notice any problems with the capitalization. I was just wondering what your reasoning was for adding them. Thanks. — Torchiest talk edits 21:21, 30 March 2012 (UTC)
Okay, thanks for that list. A couple things:
Many Thanks Athleek123 I do have a wiki account but I often forget my password. Best wishes to you. 81.103.120.143 ( talk) 07:56, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
Sophus Bie has given you some Nice Koekjes which promote fellowship, goodwill and WikiLove. Hopefully this one has made your day better. You can spread the good flavor of Nice Koekjes around Wiki World by giving someone else one. Maybe to a friend or, better yet, to someone you have had disagreements with in the past. Nice Koekjes are very tasty and have been known to be so NICE, they will even bake themselves. Enjoy!
I noticed that you've been welcoming people; keep up the good work! Hope your morning is going well! Sophus Bie ( talk) 18:57, 1 April 2012 (UTC)
![]() | Hi there! I thought you might be interested in WikiProject Wikify's
April Wikification Backlog Elimination Drive. We'll be trying to reduce the backlog size by over 1,300 articles and we need your help! Hard-working participants in the drive will receive

All you have to do is put an asterisk next to the largest article you've wikified, and coordinators will check its wordcount after the drive ends. If you have a spare moment, please join and wikify an article or tell your friends. Thanks! Note: The drive started April 1, and you can

Hi. When you recently edited CEO succession, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Pipeline and Operations ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi Athleek123,
I noticed you recently added a POV tag to Rhett Allain, but there's currently not any discussion on the talk page. Would you mind please starting one with what your concerns are about the article? You can also boldly make any changes that you see fit. Cheers, a13ean ( talk) 22:00, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
