- To begin with, I doubt you even read any of Wikipedia's polices before you even made edits. Jimbo himself has even stated " Zero information is preferred to misleading or false information" - had you have actually read the articles I told you to read, you would have seen them. The article way too long - 44,000kb? Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine's articles combined are not even 44,00kb - You've seemingly listed every portion of Zombrano's life, most of which are pointless, a la overly detailed bids for his no hitters, his conflict with the other Zombrano, an entire section which only talks about his statistical performance in 2004, and many quotes that do not even belong on Wikipedia (See Wikiquote) (Wikipedia is not a Quote Farm)
- What policies support your claim? The Sandy Koufax (The only real -FA status MLB player article) divides his life into three sections, which cover chunks of years (With the exception of really important seasons). What you have done is chronicalling Zombrano's life, and then refused to admit any fault whatsoever when addressed by E tac or ChopAtwa. If you feel confident with with your revision submit your reversion for a peer review, I'm rather certain most of article will be butchered and tagged with citation needed tags.
- Finally, you are in danger of violating the 3RR rule - Given you have already reverted my edits twice, you will receive a short block if you revert once again. For that reason, I will also stop reverting the page. Please, please please please read Wikipedia:Guide to writing better articles. - The article is a biography, correct. However, its also supposed to be encyclopedic. To put this simple, look at other articles about professional athletic figures like Michael Jordan, Pelé, or Muhammad Ali – three of the most world renowned athletes. While those articles do use quotes, they only use them to cite each person’s most influential and important – none of the articles use quotes for aesthetic or needless purposes. You can even look up the articles on other well-known encyclopedias such as Encarta or Britannica. Professional articles, cover biographies in a brief, methodically, and unbiased approach – The same goes with Wikipedia’s Good/Featured Class articles.
- While I understand you are trying to help the article, I’m suggesting (er kinda forcefully) trimming it down and removing insignificant things. If you wish, I’ll revert the page back to its original state, only leaving an Clean up, POV tag, and request for Peer Review – though given my past experience with the process, they will likely removed more stuff than me and nag about the citations. As for the quotes, its best to just leave them on Wikiquote – unless they are very significant, or have the potential to spawn an entire section devoted to the quote. When I brought up the issue about the 07 Stat Gallery on the Wikipedia Baseball Talk project, I was told that it would just take up too much space, imagine having them for every season for players that have played for more than six seasons. –Sorry I was being a dick – I should have brought up ordeal on the talk page before taking action- ShadowJester07 ►Talk 04:24, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

It's not up for deletion because really that it violates a specific policy, though it borderlines WP:NOT#INFO, but instead because having a single article, for a stand alone statistic galleries are not really needed, especially when they do not even belong on a regular players article. I too find baseball statistics very interesting and informative (I participate in too many fantasy leagues), but what's the point of adding them to Wikipedia when people can easily find them in sites that specialize in statistics. More importantly, individual statistic pages are only reserved for players who have accomplished a lot in their lives, like Michael Jordan or Wayne Gretzky. Such pages go on to analyze their accomplishments, awards, and recognitions. - Just a quick question - You did ask [ PlanetExpress if you can use his photos on Wikipedia, right? He has ignored our pleas to use his other images on Wikipedia (ei his Bears sets).
