I came across the Melancthon S. Wade article today, and saw the signature of the image looked like a different name. Per the source, it's actually an image of James S. Wadsworth, and the signature does appear to be "Jas. S. Wadsworth" in old-timey cursive. It looks like you uploaded the image to Commons last May. Are you aware of any reason to believe that this is actually of Wade instead of Wadsworth, or is it just an error that can be renamed on Commons? Hog Farm _Talk 20:43, 5 October 2022 (UTC) reply
