Just like 50cent, Jay-Z and Nas, Eniayeye Oluwasola Oluwafemi (Enyce) popularly known and referred to as Seasider is the hottest Hip Hop/Rap sensation in the Third World. No doubt, the name "Seasider" is now a Household name in the Third World as far as Hip Hop and Rap is concerned. His early musical influences include 2PAC, JAY-Z, DMX, JARULE, SNOOP DOGG, and NAS. Not much has changed lately; Seasider later reveals that his latter influences range from Dr. Dre to Eminem to D12 to G unit and 50cent. This kind of remark typifies the skills and humor that Seasider carries on and off the stage. Seasider has cultivated a fan base almost entirely due to constant internet and radio airplay. No wonder listeners are engaged by Seasider's catchy Style of beats, resonant vocals and passionate lyrics. The name "Seasider" seems to be catchy even to anybody hearing it for the first time and it attracts and makes people want to know more about this artiste. The question on everybody's lips is “where did he get the name from?” "The name Seasider represents where am from"------Seasider. "Am from the Seaside", Ilaje Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State here in West-Africa, Nigeria. That's where am from and if you translate the word "Ese-Odo" directly to English, you have "Seaside" and that was why I named my Record Label "SEASIDE I.N.C" and it actually gave birth to my Name Seasider.......... Seasider was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. M.A Eniayeye on the 10th day of April. He is the second child of five children and also the first son. A beautiful elder sister, a very charming younger sister and of course two handsome younger brothers. He was born in Oworoshoki in Lagos state but lived most of his life in the Ghetto of Ilaje-Bariga, Lagos State of Nigeria where you can also refer to as the "Seaside". Growing up was not that easy for Seasider as his interest and way of life conflicts with that of his father and other members of his family. His father a Chartered Accountant, His Mother a Civil Servant and his both sisters are "Accountants in the making" as they are currently students of the Institute Of Chartered Accountants Of Nigeria (ICAN) and also Students of the prestigious University of Lagos (UNILAG). Although he is also an Accounting student of the same Institution (UNILAG) "but I prefer music to Accounting and I have a sense of belonging in the Entertainment world most especially in the music industry".....Seasider indicated and went further to say: "Accounting is my profession but music is my talent and it is my calling. I always have high self-esteem whenever am in the studio, on stage and whenever anybody call me by the name "Seasider". Although unlike what people think, Seasider doesn’t consider his accounting knowledge as a waste because according to him, it has helps him in the day to day running of his Record Label. Seasider attended Oduduwa Primary School, Gbagada-Lagos where he obtained his Primary School Leaving Certificate. After which he went to Gbagada Grammar School and Now a student of University Of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba-Lagos. Music has been part of him ever since he was a little boy, singing in his closet, bathroom and whenever he is alone but he discovered his talent in his Secondary School Days when he was the hottest guy in school and his colleagues respects him for the fact that he knows almost all the names of Artistes, albums, year of release, record company and every other information about them as well as their lyrics. Not only that, Seasider also knows how their beat sounds even when he is not listening to the songs. "Whenever we have free period in school, when there is no teacher to teach my class or in between the period a teacher walks outta my class before another one gets in, I usually use my desk to make beat and sing to it"..........Seasider As time went on, he discovered that whenever he is singing in class, he attracts every other fellow student’s attention and they just wanna listen to him sing and that make him wants to do better each time. One day, he was actually miming Tupac's hit 'em up and at the end of the track, "I don't know what got into me......I didn't stop the beat......I was hitting the desk real hard......I was so high in the spirit and all of a sudden I started freestyling".......Seasider. All his classmates were amazed and at the same time amuse and they didn't expect that from him. He actually attracted more attention that particular day as other students from other classes left their various classes to watch him. Personally, I never knew I could do it, I don't know what got into me but the applause that I got that day makes me want to do better......Seasider. Seasider started writing his own original lyrics the same day. It was in 1997 but he started making music and performing in the year 2000. At first, he was miming and performing songs his original songs at road shows, street carnivals, etc. Songs like: "What will be", "Next Life", "Hell on Earth" and "Ghetto Star" which were never released. Today, Seasider's independent success, with little publicity and no marketing, has been the result of relentless live performances, the radio, word of mouth and the internet. The Rapper has a great stage presence and delivers a wicked live show. The extremity in his performances leaves you wanting more. He has a professional, pleasant and well appreciated disposition, and he is pleasure to work with. Recent experiences have proven that all effort is paying off. The most hilarious things started happening this year. He receives calls far and wide even from places he had never been before and people singing his songs and requesting his album. Seasider hopes to be on the road soon to promote the album. The current goal of the Rapper is to tour as much as possible in support of his original material airplay. Seasider is very comfortable playing covers for corporate events or to cater to an audience. Seasider has collaborated with so many artistes who include: His associate producer "Dual" which he featured in the track “Hell on Earth”, Ghetto Star and the hit track Doin' Mai Thin'. He has also collaborated with "Yanike" a United States based artiste on the remix of "WHO I AM" which he titled "PEACEMAKER". He has several collaborations which are still in the studio with other artistes like: Dez, Phenomenon, IBX, Sean Keys, Ghan-Izon, New Age, T.A.T.Y, Baby Angel and many others.
