I, along with several other users, have serious concerns about the article "Sophism" (see this article's Talk page), and about the fact that numerous other Wikipedia pages with links to "sophist" are unnecessarily redirected to "sophism." The first step to fixing these problems is to remove the unnecessary redirect of "sophist" to "sophism," which another user requested long ago. As a relatively new user, I have been looking at various help pages, but am unsure of how to proceed. If someone with more experience can give me some advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Maybe you can put the "sophist" information back where the redirect is. I dream of horses @ 00:10, 1 October 2012 (UTC) (corrected {{ unindent}} at 00:11, 1 October 2012 (UTC))
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with
this edit to
Sophist, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or
reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see
further information. Thank you.
