Hi, Svampesky! I've noticed your edits to WikiProject Orphanage and wanted to extend to you a warm welcome! We can always use more editors helping with the backlog.
I looked over a couple of your most recent edits – you're going above and beyond with adding referenced content along with the links, well done! Just a note for that: is there a reason you aren't removing the corresponding {{
orphan}} template from the orphaned article? If you'd like another pair of eyes on articles you de-orphan to make sure they're all good, that's fine! Otherwise,
be bold to remove the template and shorten the backlog. (Apologies if you already knew this, ignore me if I'm being repetitive.)
Also just wanted to let you know after seeing a couple edit summaries, since WP:WikiProject Orphanage is on my watchlist: I doubt the vast majority of people who use their
watchlist don't have notifications on as far as I know – there are far too many edits a day for that. It just shows up as a link to the most recent
difference in article/page edits, so no need to worry about that!
One more thing: you've got a fantastic mentor in Firefangledfeathers, so I doubt you'll ever need me, but if you ever would like, feel free to drop by my talk page with questions or anything. :)
Happy editing!

This page seems to be meant to style your userpage. To do that, the page type needs to "sanitized CSS" rather than "CSS". See WP:TemplateStyles.
To create a sanitized CSS page, you can create
Template:TemplateStyles sandbox/Swampesky/styles.css (it has to start out in the template namespace) then move it to somewhere like
User:Svampesky/styles.css. Then you can add <templatestyles src="User:Svampesky/styles.css" />
to your userpage (or another page) to make the CSS modify the contents of the page (though not the other interfaces like the search bar).
You might also be interested in using <span class="plainlinks">[//w.wiki/AQKD <span style="color:#008080">Swampesky</span>]</span>
in place of your current user link in your signature to cause the page to be in dark mode when people click the link. (Like this:
Swampesky.)
