Please stop changing "born" to "b." and "died" to "d.", as you did in Baron Grimthorpe and other articles. I can't put my hand on an explicit rule about this right now, but all the examples in WP:MOSNUM and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Biographies use the spelled out form.
