The article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No._1_Squadron,_Indian_Air_Force is about Indian Air Force. I saw this paragraph in "Burma campaign" section of page "One of the pilots Ghulam Ahmad was the only Kashmiri in this squadron. Later migrated to Pakistan." recently added by an editor, the subject person [[Ghulam Ahmad]] was also added in the page [[Rawalakot]] by same editors. Do you have any idea if this person [[Ghulam Ahmad]] was really an Indian Airforce pilot? I believe that his two sons Jim1138 and EagleEye with their associate Trueblood786 are adding his name here and there. Please comment. |

Hello, Sumanch!
It was really helpful of you to upload File:Abhinandana.jpg. However, in order to keep and use new images, we need to know their original source.
If you can edit the description page and add this information, that would be great. If you're not sure how or need help, please ask at the media copyright questions page and we'll be happy to assist you.
Thanks again! Template:Z139 -- ImageTaggingBot ( talk) 07:06, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Before saying a biography is about a living person, pay attention to the dates ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Abdulla_Qahhor). Abdulla Qahhor died in 1968 and can't be a living person. Nataev ( talk) 08:43, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Thank for the Welcome message you left on my Talk page; I have been editing Wiklipedia for over 4½ years. What do you object to in my edits to Talk:Space Ghost Coast to Coast; please be more specific other than "vandalism". Please respond here. HairyWombat 05:23, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Apology accepted. Thank you for restoring my edit. HairyWombat 05:52, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Hi! You reverted as vandalism my removal from Baume et Mercier of a passage that has been flagged as unsourced since 2008, and which claimed that a watch had been tested on a car made 6 years after the watch. I would be grateful for an apology or explanation on my talk page. Cheers! 93.96.148.42 ( talk) 20:41, 5 February 2012 (UTC) Dear Sumanch, Thank you for your explanation. I would like to request an apology for the text you posted on my page, which refers to unconstructive edits, not edit summaries. If you looked at the edit, saw that the text had been unsourced for 4 years, but decided it needed to stay, I withdraw my request. 93.96.148.42 ( talk) 01:11, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
We do not delete redirects under G8 unless they're redirects to pages that never existed or that have been deleted, so these redirects aren't good candidates: for example, File:Trans-Asia ship.JPG shouldn't be deleted because File:Trans-Asia ship — MV Trans-Asia 3.jpg still exists. I understand that pages can qualify for speedy deletion for other reasons, but none of the other reasons were applicable: in particular, R3 (recently created and implausible) is often attempted in these situations, but it doesn't apply because the titles themselves are sufficiently old; for example, File:Trans-Asia ship.JPG has been a blue link for over a year and a half — when a page of any sort is moved, the important thing when determining recent or non-recent is when the link became blue, not when the page received its new title. Hi Sumanch, it turns out that wiki's policy for article names isn't just "the most common name, full stop". In fact, the policy seems to explicitly forbid any article name that is used with a different meaning in reliable sources. But that's certainly the situation with Tachyon. If you're interested, would you mind joining the discussion here? Thanks. Waleswatcher (talk) 12:56, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:Jessie VTV and YMC.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
