Testing reverts
Could you please not put spaces between the category and the name of person in the category? They don't alphebetize on the category page when you do. Thank you. Asarelah 18:26, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Why do you think that compare is not important? In russian wikipedia we have big table with compare yhis projects here [1]. But as you wish. I only want to ask can I add to article WikiZnanie information abot number of articles in what this project grows yearly? -- Morpheios Melas 09:27, 7 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi, I have seen that you are using the Cacycle editor extension. This program is no longer actively maintained in favor of its much more powerful successor wikEd.
wikEd has all the functionality of the old editor plus: • syntax highlighting • nifty image buttons • more fixing buttons • paste formatted text from Word or web pages • convert the formatted text into wikicode • adjust the font size • and much, much more.
Switching to wikEd is easy, check the detailed installation description on its project homepage. Often it is as simple as changing every occurrence of editor.js into wikEd.js on your User:YourUsername/monobook.js page.

Hello! You have recently removed three external links from this article, namely:
As justification, you cited WP:EL & WP:SPAM. First, these links may be "unencyclopedic", but they are merely sites with photos and descriptions of the walls of the city, and cannot be considered inaccurate (no more than any "non-encyclopedic" internet website can, plus most are only collections of photographs) or, in my opinion, falling under WP:SPAM. Second, in some cases, photos featured in these sites are unobtainable elsewhere (especially on the Sea Walls, Yedikule, Marble Tower, etc). Did you look at the links before deleting them? I included them specifically because they serve to illustrate the relevant article. Just because something happens to be on Geocities, Angelfire or any other host does not mean it should be automatically deleted, unless I did not understand Wikipedia's policies. I await your reply, otherwise I shall revert the removal tomorrow. Regards, Cplakidas 17:03, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
because I was adding Information on Star Wars: Droid Works and I got a message saying:
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Star Wars: Droid Works, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Strom 07:08, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
I was NOT Vandalizing the page, you can check it now, I would just like to know why I got that message.
No problem, thanks for the quick response!
Sorry for the experimentation/vandalism you found on page Mutually exclusive events. I am the tech guy here, and I'm looking into who did it.
Hi. You changed my edit of "Demographics of Montreal." You can't put Arabic in place of Arab. Arabic is a language, not a people. It would be like calling someone Afrikaans. Please change it back. Thanks!
I recently created an article dedicated to the Stony Man novels and added all the Stony Man crew from the Phoenix Force page to it. I also added three more members of the crew: Barbara Price, Buck Greene and Charlie Mott. If you'd still like to try a merge idea, let me know. And003 20:20, 16 November 2006 (CST)
Ive read that WikiPedia strays away from disscusion group links, but i think the forums in this case are needed. All the latest in the hookah realm is talked about there, and a few of the people know more than whats in the wiki article here about hookahs. Ive been reading into the pages changes and have seen that problems in the past, but i think the forums should be something added in permanently, and left there. Thats just me though.
I sometimes forget this is an open wiki, and I sometimes fail to realise I may not be alone. Thank you so much for dropping a line of encouragement and for the timely reminder. I truly appreciate it.-- Huaiwei 08:38, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
please dont revert without explaining, especially when what you reverted was cited. there were earlier problems on that same page about reverting and citing. For example, reverting blackberry when it was cited.-- Technofreak90 20:06, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Strom, I'm not sure if you're familiar with it or not but Wikipedia doesn't allow an editor to revert more than three times on a given article in 24 hours (see WP:3RR). You've got at least three reverts on the Michael Richards aricle so far: rv1 rv2 rv3. I'm cautioning you to be wary of any more reverting today lest you become blocked. (and know that reverts include partial reverts where you only revert part of a given article). Thanks. ( → Netscott) 01:07, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
Your removal of the lynching text I added was essentially a revert. One of the things that you can do is to "self-revert" by reinstating a given editor's work in some form. I would suggest you do that in this case. ( → Netscott) 01:10, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob ( talk) 23:49, 20 September 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose
site bans,
topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,
