Thanks for uploading Image:CAFM.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:06, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Glad to see you are doing some proactive work writing air force articles. I too am concentrating on RCAF/Canadian military stuff. Just a few suggestions that will help you out. Make sure you don't copy and paste from other websites (like 414 squadron). I am telling you this because this is considered a copyright violation and the article will probably be deleted - something, I am sure you don't want to happen. I would rewrite anything you have copy and pasted as soon as possible to avoid someone tagging your pages or deleting them. Also, the WP naming convention for RCAF squadron names is "No. 4 - - Squadron RCAF" in case you plan on writing more squadron articles. Many of the squadrons are done, but there is still lots of work to do. If you can help, that would be great. All the best. -- BC 19:43, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
What is the purpose of the table? None of the information shows in the article. Stemcat 17:28, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
Hi again. I noticed you've reworked 414 squadron. I thought it fair to mention that your writing should not be in point form. Wikipedia calls this a "laundry list" and you will get a warning on your page for it to be rewritten in prose form. There are some places where lists are okay, but generally not for the main article. Go to WP:LAUNDRY for information on this. I would hate to see a warning on a page you've worked hard on.-- BC 18:12, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
Ok, looks like I have a lot to learn. Thanks for keeping me in line. I have reworked 414 Squadron again. I can't get the CF Squadron Template to work so I am leaving it out. I checked it on a computer at work run Windows XP and the info doesn't show up there either. I have also moved the 407 Squadron page to No. 407 Squadron RCAF.Stemcat 23:19, 4 May 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Conflict and Creativity at Work, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{
hangon}}
to the top of
the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on
the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact
one of these admins to request that they
userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you.

Thanks for uploading File:Originofhumannaturebookcover.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{ non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones (Talk) 21:49, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
Your upload of File:CAFM1.JPG or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.
This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
