I successfully logged on to wikiquote about an hour ago, posted something and was then logged out of my account and couldn't log back in. Now I can't log in to wikiquote or wikipedia. No email comes if I do a password reset. I've got two questions: Is there anything I can do or is my wiki account gone forever? If my account was hacked, would I know?

"If you were this user, there isn't much you can do." Well... shit. There goes a 10+ year old account. #crying. Can I at least get to log files so that I can prepare myself against what might be a targetted id theft attack and get a Wikipedia volunteer to look them over so they can better defend themselves against other attacks from the same source. 82.34.183.18 ( talk) 12:12, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
