Future Friends (album)

Hi, just writing to ask you: Where are the titles for the second half of Future Friends (album)? I can't find any source that actually names the songs from the Part 2 EP, and no source currently on the page supports them. Ss 112 15:43, 26 August 2017 (UTC)

Hello! Would a source from iTunes do the job of properly citing the title of Part 2? SomethingToTellYou ( talk) 15:55, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
Sure, but if you mean sourcing the song titles from Part 2, I can't find any iTunes page that lists them... [1], [2], [3] Ss 112 17:57, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
Can we use the citation of their webstore I got rid of when I revamped the page? [4] SomethingToTellYou ( talk) 18:25, 26 August 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, that's fine to confirm song titles. Ss 112 20:01, 26 August 2017 (UTC)

Draft:Music of Stranger Things

Information icon Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:Music of Stranger Things a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into Music of Stranger Things. This is known as a " cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Orphaned non-free image File:POP2 - Charli.jpg

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:POP2 - Charli.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Your draft article, Draft:Monopole (band)

Hello, SomethingToTellYou. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, " Monopole".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. » Shadowowl | talk 18:24, 5 June 2018 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Pink - Funhouse Live In Australia.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Pink - Funhouse Live In Australia.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot ( talk) 01:02, 22 August 2018 (UTC)

Notice

The file File:Gajsoundtrack.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free album cover being used in a decorative manner in Gnomeo and Juliet#Soundtrack. Non-free album cover art is generally allowed to be used for primary identification purposes in stand-alone articles about albums, but its use in other articles is generally only allowed when the cover art itself is the subject of sourced critical commentary as explained in WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8 is evident. There is no such commentary for this particular album cover anywhere in the article, and the use of soundtrack album cover art in articles about films or TV programs is generally not allowed for this reason as explained in WP:FILMSCORE.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly ( talk) 02:48, 22 December 2018 (UTC)

Love + Fear

Hi. Thanks for expanding Love + Fear, but please don't add unsourced genres to the infobox. The album isn't even out yet, and there have been no sources talking about the style of music Marina is doing for the album. Thanks. Ss 112 03:07, 15 February 2019 (UTC)

@ Ss112: I apologize! I simply lifted the genres from Handmade Heaven and applied them to Love + Fear, as the song’s sound will be indicative of the album’s. I’ll add them back with sources later. SomethingToTellYou ( talk)

Hi, where did you get the information that the back of the physical release, where the tracklist should be, is the other cover art? Also, the sound of 'Handmade Heaven' isn't what the rest of the album will sound like. Marina has said, in other words obviously, that it is not an indication of the rest of the album's sound. First and foremost, there has to be an article for which the image can be attributed. If the image isn't being used anywhere, then it'll be deleted quickly. Non-free rationale for File:Stop-and-shop-new-logo-2018.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Stop-and-shop-new-logo-2018.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Music of Stranger Things into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{ copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa 🍁 ( talk) 14:54, 2 May 2019 (UTC)

@ Diannaa: Thank you for the heads up! However, I wrote the majority of the content from that page. I built it from the ground up (with some contributions from other users) until it was time to spin off parts of it. I didn't feel the need to attribute myself, though i will be more weary of this in the future. Thank you again! SomethingToTellYou ( talk) 14:58, 2 May 2019 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Template:The Fame Monster tracks requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion because it is an unused duplicate of another template, or a hard-coded instance of another template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

If the template is not actually the same as the other template noted, please consider putting a note on the template's page explaining how this one is different so as to avoid any future mistakes.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.

Hello, SomethingToTellYou. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, " Charli XCX's third studio album".

CptViraj (Talk) 04:01, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
