Hey again Anna! I just wanted to keep you updated on our project. I've chosen to edit the Community journalism page for my class. If I have any questions I'll send them your way. Shealb ( talk) 21:16, 9 February 2011 (UTC)shealb
You've made a great start! I have a few comments that may improve the article:

Hello. Well done! Here are some suggestions and comments:
<ref>
tags on this page without content in them (see the
help page). and stick it at the end of the text you wish to reference. Here is an example of a simple one:<ref>{{Cite web | title = Apple tree fruit | url=http://apples.com/apple-trees.html | accessdate = 20 February 2011 }}</ref>
Good work! Keep it up. If you have any questions, just ask. Anna Frodesiak ( talk) 15:58, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Hello. Nice to see the figures you've added to Community journalism. I'm just wondering about the source. Is that for all of US? I think that list deserves its own section. Also, it might not be necessary to add "community papers" each time.
Keep up the good work. You're doing great! Anna Frodesiak ( talk) 22:34, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
Anna, my Wikipedia assignment has come to an end. I just wanted to thank you so much for assisting me this semester. Shealb ( talk) 19:56, 18 April 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for uploading File:Typewriter.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Eeekster ( talk) 20:28, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:Typewrtier.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{ GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{ non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 20:30, 25 April 2011 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster ( talk) 20:30, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Invitation from the
Guild of Copy Editors
The Guild of Copy Editors invites you to participate in their September 2011 Backlog elimination drive, a month-long effort to reduce the size of the copy editing backlog. The drive will begin on September 1 at 00:00 (UTC) and will end on September 30 at 23:59 (UTC). We will be tracking the number of 2010 articles in the backlog, as we want to copy edit as many of those as possible. Please consider copy editing an article that was tagged in 2010. Barnstars will be given to anyone who edits more than 4,000 words, with special awards for the top 5 in the categories "Number of articles", "Number of words", and "Number of articles of over 5,000 words". See you at the drive! – Your drive coordinators: Diannaa, Chaosdruid, The Utahraptor, Slon02, and SMasters. |
