Hi, I saw your message on Merbabu's talkpage - I hope you don't mind me replying. Page 6 of Sundhaussen, Ulf (1982) The Road to Power: Indonesian Military Politics 1945-1967 (Oxford University Press, ISBN 0 19 582521 7) reads: "...the PPKI announced on 22 August [1945] that a Badan Penolong Keluarga Korban (Agency for Aid to Families of War Victims) had been formed which organizationally included a Badan Keamanan Rakyat (People's Security Agency), or BKR." Was that what you needed? Regards Davidelit ( talk) 11:06, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
Hi, I have had a look through my bookshelf (shelves!), but i don't have anything relevant to the DKJ. I have one reference that the Jakarta Institute of Art Education (LPKJ) was founded in 1968 (Indonesia 1999: An Official Handbook, Department of Education, Republic of Indonesia, no ISBN, page 171), but that's it I'm afraid. My interests are post-independence military and political history, so it's outside my area. However, if you need references about that... Regards Davidelit ( talk) 17:36, 12 December 2008 (UTC)
