If you have a source that says that the statue is made of black mulberry wood, please go ahead and edit it in. I did have a look before editing out the type of wood. However Malta isn't in the declared range of black mulberry. In any case blackberry doesn't usually refer to black mulberry, so I would suggest being explicit in calling it black mulberry.
