Thanks for uploading File:CesarRodriguez.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
{{

, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Melesse ( talk) 06:38, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
Hey, I believe it's a consensus from everyone involved with FC Barcelona. The players statistical numbers plus the love shown by the fans most often than not determines whether they've become legends. Examples are: Xavi, Messi, Puyol & Iniesta. Hi there
I notice that you put down that no football was played during the Civil War, but RSSSF says that the regional championships continued. Are these regarded as unofficial, in the same way as the leagues played in England during the Second World War are not considered official? Also, RSSSF says that Barca qualified for the 1937 Liga Mediterranea, which is not included on the list. I've never heard of this competition, do you know anything about it......?
Cheers, ChrisTheDude ( talk) 09:03, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
Hiya. On liga mediterranea: Yes I have noticed this before and the Liga Mediterranea ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mediterranean_League) (I just got a mac and can't find hard brackets) is the same as the Campionat in effect (plus some more teams), but was designed to be a national league. Due to the undue disruption the war had on the games played back then, I would be hesitant about including it. It is not considered official by LFP as far as i can tell (the website is, as you probably know by now, user-hostile beyond description), and was not recognized as a La Liga title. Ipso facto, I'd suggest we don't include Liga Mediterranea.
Regional championsships: I'll have a look in the burns book, I think he mentions it. Sandman888 ( talk) 10:19, 23 April 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Arthurwitty.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Hi there SANDMAN, VASCO from Portugal here,
Just a quick note: please, in English, Real Sociedad is not ROYAL SOCIETY, RCD Español is not RCD SPANISH, etc...Also, please don't copy wikilinks from ES.WIKI when creating the article to EN.WIKI, wikilinks sometimes are 100% different.

Hi there SANDMAN, VASCO here, sorry i took so long to reply,
Great job on the list of players for these two clubs (i made some adjustments at the list of Bilbao, namely fixing redirects)! Regarding your question, i'll have to tell you i am not very good at understanding the difference between "good article" and "featured article", nor when an article deserves to reach one status or the other.
I do agree with your commentary that the FC BARCELONA PLAYERS list should only include players with 100 matches or more; however, the legend part is a little more "fuzzy", a good source for debate. I have left a note at the "place" at you request.
Cheers, keep up the great work, from Portugal - -- Vasco Amaral ( talk) 01:39, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi there SANDMAN, VASCO here again,
Please undo your move in the list of Athletic Bilbao players, i have just now created the article on CANITO (a nickname); since there are two CANITO players (both Spanish) i inserted the "SPANISH FOOTBALLER BORN x-year" to avoid disambiguation. Still tonight, i will work on their biographies, promise.
Also, why did you write NICANOR SAGARDUY for the Athletic player? His real name was NICANOR TRAPERO GONZALO...Cheers - -- Vasco Amaral ( talk) 20:59, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. The Rambling Man ( talk) 16:03, 15 June 2010 (UTC)

I noticed at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of Washington Capitals seasons/archive1 that you wanted to know whether a capping script existed. To my knowledge the answer is no, but there is a relatively simple method to cap comments. This involves placing comments that have been addressed inside this template; the documentation gives examples of how to use it. Not sure if you already knew about this, but if not the template will hopefully be useful. It's the most user-friendly capping method I've come across. Also, make sure you don't cap any comments you've resolved yourself in your nominations, as that should be left to the original reviewer. Giants2008 ( 27 and counting) 21:27, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi there SANDMAN, VASCO here,
Regarding your input here ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Football#Marvin_Morgan), i think this site ( http://www.bdfutbol.com), although its reliability may not be "top of the game", it's VERY complete - if it fails on one or two games/goals per season, that's it.
Also, if you read the total discussion (my input, that is), you would know that the most reliable source (at least match-by-match) for Spanish players, WWW.LPF.ES, has crashed, so what do we insert for Spanish players? NOTHING? When we have a complete site with season-by-season stats, picture(s) and honours? I find it very strange indeed...

I think I got those problems fixed but wasn't sure if you noticed any others that might be messing up the way the list is set up now. ( Floppydog66 ( talk) 04:58, 23 May 2010 (UTC))
Hi Sandman, I've restarted this FLRC to which you contributed, it was becoming far TLDR. I'd appreciate your input back there if you can. Cheers. The Rambling Man ( talk) 17:00, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
All for the moment, happy editing - -- Vasco Amaral ( talk) 23:38, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Keep up the good work, regards - -- Vasco Amaral ( talk) 21:19, 10 June 2010 (UTC)
Thanks a lot. Could you indicate whether you oppose, are neutral or support the list? It's been going for 31 days now, wd like to get an end to it. Sandman888 ( talk) 08:03, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
Ucucha's concerns have been addressed; please revisit when you get the chance. Dabomb87 ( talk) 14:38, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

Did you have any other concerns besides the symbol issue? Thought I'd check since the discussion fizzled out and I wasn't sure if that was because you were okay with it or you forgot about the list. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 00:01, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
I think I've addressed your concerns about the lead, sorry it took me so long. -- Nomader ( Talk) 04:14, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi there. I wonder if you'd mind reviewing the above at PR if you get time? Could really do with a hand. Thanks, Tom Tomlock01 ( talk) 10:58, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
Please, if you have time, revisit your review there as you are the only oppose and I'm not sure I can clearly see why. Cheers. The Rambling Man ( talk) 19:14, 28 June 2010 (UTC)
Hi there SANDMAN, VASCO here,
Regarding your input here ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Football#User:Pararubbas): thank you very much for your kind words, you have given me strength to carry on for a couple of months more, at least.

Could you answer my question on wikiproject football talk page about the england squad. Cheers mate, Gobbleswoggler ( talk) 09:56, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Cheers - -- Vasco Amaral ( talk) 17:31, 6 July 2010 (UTC)
Hi. I've removed this nomination as you already have two others running. Please wait until they have no issues and significant support before nominating another list. Cheers. The Rambling Man ( talk) 08:49, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
