I've set up redirects at PCAFM and PC-AFM. Coding and copyright issues might look frightening at first. Don't hesitate to ask. I'll have a look at the parent PCAFM article later. Materialscientist ( talk) 03:11, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
Thank you once again for your help! SIUCchem575 ( talk) 03:15, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
Some images from the PCAFM article have been deleted from Commons, and I would prepare for further deletions. I am not an administrator on Commons and can't see what exactly was wrong (though we can ask the terminator, he is from en.wiki). I saw in some other images that they are taken from a journal, meaning they are copyrighted, and could be deleted too. There are several ways around. One is modify the images and upload them as your own original work, maybe better on this en.wiki than on Commons (then we can see more). There is some odd compound in the article - cadmium indium - probably a typo. Materialscientist ( talk) 08:16, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
The images that were deleted were my own images I created. Yes I had modified them from images I have seen, but they were not exactly the same. All of the images which are copyrighted, we have obtained permission from the publisher for the re-use and have sent this to the permissions e-mail account. I will try the pictures that I made back. SIUCchem575 ( talk) 15:33, 9 May 2011 (UTC)
I am not sure who marked those two images "Reproduction of this image must be granted by Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co." since they came directly from the journal which is associated with the citation. I just went and viewed those images on the website, ACS Nano and thus controlled by The American Chemical Society, which we have obtained licensing for. The license number and information is located within the image summary. SIUCchem575 ( talk) 04:37, 10 May 2011 (UTC)
Hey - I see you may be from the SIU-C Chemistry department. I live in Marion, got my undergrad degree in Chem, and went to SIU-C for a couple years as a microbiology grad student. Drop me a note on my talk page sometime. Later.

The article Vibrational Analysis at Nano/Submicron Scale has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

Thanks for uploading File:Principle of PALM.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth ( talk) 15:02, 7 September 2013 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:Pcafmcoff.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Kkmurray ( talk) 01:09, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
