If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Are Blytt, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. You have an obvious conflict of interest, please don't write about yourself, your friends or relatives and read the guidance below:

  • When you write about a person, you must provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that they meet the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the person or an associated organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the person claims or interviewing them. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls.
  • You must write in a non-promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic, with verifiable facts, not opinions or reviews.
  • There shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections.
  • You must not copy text from elsewhere. Copyrighted text is not allowed in Wikipedia, as outlined in this policy. That applies even to pages created by you or your organisation, unless they state clearly and explicitly that the text is public domain. We require that text posted here can be used, modified and distributed for any purpose, including commercial; text is considered to be copyright unless explicitly stated otherwise. There are ways to donate copyrighted text to Wikipedia, as described here; please note that simply asserting on the talk page that you are the owner of the copyright, or you have permission to use the text, isn't sufficient.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read Your first article. You must also reply to the COI request above. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:13, 28 March 2020 (UTC) reply

Thanks for your message, but I'm afraid you keep posting the same stuff, ignoring my comments above, so it will keep being deleted.

  • You have ignore my COI query, despite having only worked on this article
  • Your references are not all appropriate, including as they do press releases, gallery promos and his own site. They also don't necessarily support what you claim. The works [ sic] is informed by previous art historical precedents such as abstract expressionism and minimalism, with a subversive sense and contemporary approach has three refs, but I can't see where any say that, although the Dutch perhaps hints at minimalism
  • You present opinions as facts eg embraces painting while challenging painterly questions and testing the limits of this medium. The relationship between image and text is essential in his works and he implements self-written texts and photos into the abstract canvases.[2] His paintings deal with current social and political questions within a humanistic and personal approach
  • Much of your text is a copyright violation of this page

Incidentally, although I'm no expert on modern art, I did recently write an art article

Just so there is no doubt in your mind, if you repost for a fourth time, I will block you for copyright violation, promotion and undeclared COI Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:50, 29 March 2020 (UTC) reply

Information icon Hello, Rouge DM. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{ request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Please disclose your conflict of interest prior to any further edits. -- Yamla ( talk) 13:33, 29 March 2020 (UTC) reply

Hi bonadea thank you for this information, I´m new to this, and it´s not so easy, I´m trying. This artist is of public interest within my field! I use Wikipedia all the time about contemporary art. Can you please help me with this statement so I can continue my edit? I´m not paid or indirectly paid, so why should I state this? Thank you. I use Wikipedia all the time for contemporary art :) This is other examples of his peers, so I do not understand why all this: /info/en/?search=Bjarne_Melgaard /info/en/?search=A._K._Dolven

Hi Rouge DM, it is true that Wikipedia contains quite a lot of policies and guidelines and rules, which can get rather confusing at times. The main thing is that you read the information that has already been placed on your user talk page – a couple of other people had already asked you about conflict of interest/paid editing, and since you had not responded to that, I put a slightly more strongly worded notice there. Unfortunately, it looks as if you have copied much of the text in the current draft from a couple of different sources, and that is not acceptable since it violates Wikipedia's copyright rules. It seems to me that Blytt is quite possibly notable, but the article about him cannot include promotional wording or phrases that address a readership who understand art jargon ("Blytt´s works are described as post-painterly figuration and they are not about painting, it simply is painting that happens to also contain figurative elements, such as photography or text, as part of its vocabulary" makes almost no sense to me at all – what does that mean? In addition, that wording is taken straight from this source, and also misrepresents that source a little). Rather than look at random other articles, it may be more useful for you to read Wikipedia articles that have been included in the list of "Good Articles" – that is a review process which results in pretty high-quality writing. You will find a list of art related Good Articles here. Regards, -- bonadea contributions talk 15:57, 29 March 2020 (UTC) reply
Hi bonadea, thank you for the reply. First I would like to stress again, I made this page as an contribution for the field of contemporary art / contemporary painting. Please belive this. I have shown it to two other persons, who dont find this incorrect or promotional, or not art jargon as you say :/ I would be very happy to re-poen this together with you.
