It's so great to read what is going on at Wikipedia and especially in regards to topics that are relevant to women. I've spent the last few days just going through everything I've missed since taking my winter break (And I thought winter was grueling, lol). Nevertheless, Spring and the "great thaw" is upon us and, with the return of every shade of green and vibrant colors to our valley around the corner, I feel refreshed and renewed. I just wanted to stop by and wish you so many blessings for the rest of this year and look forward to being able to make contributions, whether great or small, to allow the voices of my sisters to be heard and to assist in building upon the foundation that so many have poured themselves into forming throughout the years. -- ARose Wolf 17:39, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
Thank you for welcoming me as a first-time editor, and for hosting the NMAI Edit-a-thon event! I'm attending as a member of the Women of Color Advancing Peace and Security group, with members all over the world, primarily young Women of Color in the national security, development, health, tech, and advocacy spaces. We have some members/groups interested in the effort to get equal representation in places like Wikipedia. There may be opportunities for additional collaboration in the future, which would be wonderful! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hyanghw ( talk • contribs) 10:47, April 23, 2021 (UTC)

More memories on the Main page today, Psalm 115 thinking of Yoninah, Christa Ludwig and Milva, - voices that made the Earth a better place. Sad that the psalm hook didn't appear on Earth Day as planned, but better pictured and late than going unnoticed ;) -- Gerda Arendt ( talk) 13:21, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Hello, I'm
TJRC. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article,
Solon, Ohio, but you didn't provide a
reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to
include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the
tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on
my talk page. Thank you.

As I raised this matter on the Ideas page, I thought I should let you know that the situation is not as critical as I thought. I've just been going through the membership list for April registrations and see that in addition to those I covered early in the month, there have in fact been seven more in the past couple of weeks. The reason I did not contact them earlier is that their names did not appear on the membership list until several days after their registration. Every morning I cancel the cache and check the list for the past three days. I now realize I'll have to go back four or five days to catch them all. I don't know why this is happening but at least we're still getting new members. So maybe MarioGom should just leave things as they are for the time being. But maybe we should reduce the membership registration box on the main WiR page to "Join WikiProject" and "View Full List" as the "Meet the participants" is no longer functioning. The only way to view the "cards" is to see when the registration was made and view Special contributions for the editor in question.-- Ipigott ( talk) 11:05, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
Hi, Rosiestep. I've started expanding David Albala, which you created and largely wrote, with the aim of getting it promoted to Good Article status. For now I'm focusing on adding material from reliable secondary sources. If there is any material I should know about, feel free to bring it to my attention. And of course, if you would like to help get the article to GA that would be more than welcome. Warmest regards, Amanuensis Balkanicus ( talk) 17:24, 28 April 2021 (UTC)

In my opinion you don't get this enough, Rosie. Simply from one human being to another, every ounce of who I am behind each and every letter...THANK YOU! Thank you for caring. Thank you for loving. Thank you for being who you are. Thank you for giving so much of your time and efforts to keeping the voices of our past and present fresh in our hearts and minds. This encourages us to keep persevering and keep fighting so young women like my daughter, our future, will know the hardships faced the sacrifices made so that their voices will never be silenced. -- ARose Wolf 13:05, 29 April 2021 (UTC)

Hi Rosie. I have just had a Speedy Deletion tag attached to my latest article under the Mental Health editathon. I am at loss to understand the reason for this. If all similar articles get tagged in this way it would appear to threaten the very existence of Women in Red. Any help you can give would be much appreciated. Thanks Roundtheworld ( talk) 19:08, 4 May 2021 (UTC)

A belated thank you for the welcome a couple of weeks ago! I mean it's probably an automatic thing but very nice anyway - Wikipedia can be a bit intimidating. (And apologies if this is the wrong place/format. I don't really know what I'm doing.) I just spotted you're very involved with the Women in Red project, which seems a very good plan indeed. Persicifolia ( talk) 11:47, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
Persicifolia, I just "outdented" so you can see what that looks like, too. BTW, I reviewed the article I think you were referring to, Ursula Jones, made a few tweaks, and removed the templates from the top. Thanks for creating it! -- Rosiestep ( talk) 16:08, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
