I have nominated Murray Carter, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Murray Carter. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Thanks for uploading File:CarterCutlery Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Sorry, but nonfree images are only allowed in articles; they must not appear in userspace, even if the userspace page is an article in development. As soon as you move the article into mainspace, I'll be happy to restore the image — just let me know when you move it. Nyttend ( talk) 02:35, 3 April 2010 (UTC)
I started copy-editing the Murray Carter (bladesmith) article when I became aware that it was substantially the same as the article deleted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Murray Carter. Our policies do not allow for that, and so I have deleted the article from mainspace and brought it back to your user space. You need to address notability concerns, and provide reliable sources - that is sources other than statements by Murray Carter - which can support the claims to notability. I would strongly advise not returning the article to mainspace without first asking an experienced editor in good standing, preferably an admin, to look over the article to confirm it is acceptable. Any questions, please get in touch with me. SilkTork * YES! 09:30, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
