Please review Wikipedia:OVERLINK with respect to the points that everyday words that will be understood in context, like "defect" should not be linked, and that "a link should appear only once in an article". Also, please be careful to avoid linking to disambiguation pages like Guidance, Orientation, Terminal, Binding, and Proliferation, and instead link to the actual article that discusses the topic to which you intend to link.
