Greetings Tokyogirl79. Thanks for deleting the above article. I should have nominated it for speedy deletion. Thanks for blocking the Ice Kid user for socking and abusing multiple accounts. I was going to open a case at WP:SPI. I have a feeling that the user might attempt to re-create the article again. I think the page should be protected in order to prevent its re-creation. Hey, wasn't quite sure why you blanked out a substantial portion of Starbomb that went over their overall formation and release history. I'd included it since this is sort of par for the course with group acts and it also helps combat a proposal that we only have articles on the albums and not the group. I've reverted it but I did keep some of your content, specifically which member does what and the notation about what type of songs the group performs. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 16:01, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
Hi, it's LordStarscream100. I've been trying to get unblocked and you told me that I had to make such a request "on the talk page of the blocked account and while logged in as that user". While I intend(ed) to follow these instructions, due to the fact that you blocked my account I was unable to log into it and edit anything - including your talk page. It's not that I ignored your request - I had no way of fulfilling it, so I made the best with what I had.
Hope we can resolve this.

Tom Miller's award of WikiExcellence |
Thank you for your offer of help with the Tabernacle Page. The Tabernacle is part of a continuum of one variety show started over 20 years ago by Tom Miller, listed as a performance artist. He is truly one of the bright lights we have in Gainesville (and that's saying a lot, because there are many talented actors and musicians in this town), and anything I can do to promote this incredibly original and thought-provoking show would be wonderful for Mr. Miller and the rest of the "church." Recently, the Reverend Angel Dust's Tabernacle of Hedonism, with your host, Tom Miller, participated in the installation of nothing on the Bo Diddley Community Plaza in Downtown Gainesville, FL, and this has been dutifully reported in the paper of record for GNV, The Gainesville Sun. Hi. I read your comment on the Inspire campaign page. It seems to me that your concerns are twofold:
Here are my thoughts on the first point:
Or to look at it another way, consider the following thought experiment: suppose this same idea had been proposed by a totally neutral, clean person. Do you think there would have been fewer or more opposers?
As for canvassing: note the following sentence
here: An idea's placement in this list does not signify that it is better or worse than any other idea, and the number of endorsements an idea receives does not determine whether that idea will be selected for funding.
Indeed the Inspire campaign is primarily a place for brainstorming and getting support from interested people.

Would you please take a look around for source material for Art Supawatt Purdy? The author is earnestly trying to make a good article and it is on an old Thai actor so even if he is notable sourcing will be difficult. I can not find anything significant but you have found things to save articles that I have missed in the past. The author has added some material since I nominated it for AfD but with what I can see of it there is nothing that would make me comfortable withdrawing my nomination (no one has !voted yet so it would SK) I value your opinion and would very much appriciate any help you may be able to give. We decided to preserve the photo negative collection I mentioned to you a few months ago through Radford University - Farmer Photo Collection]. About 2500 of the 100,000 or so photos have been digitized so far. It is searchable here and browsable here. They are licensed for non-commercial use and if an editor needs a more permissible license for a specific picture or set of pictures I can ask the estate. Jbh Talk 00:00, 24 June 2016 (UTC)

I have just discovered that about a month ago you restored the article Madaari, which I had deleted. I find this very surprising, for the following reasons:
I am aware that there is a danger that this message may read a bit like an angry rant. It is, in fact, more in astonishment than in anger that I write it, but in writing, without tone of voice and facial expression to go by, the two can seem very similar. Hello T.G. it's been a while since I have updated you on the progress of our previous collaboration, I Drink Your Blood. Just want to let you know that I have already incorporated what I have done so far on the draft page into the actual article itself. However its still needs a little more work done to it though, namely giving proper citations to unsourced material, updating citations, and expanding the section on the film's controversy. At the moment I am finished with the article, and I am leaving it up to others to further modify and expand it. I am also working on a new article to collaborate on for WikiProject Horror. It is the article on the infamous horror character Leatherface which is pretty significant but, unfortunately, it is in a state of severe underdevelopment and suffering from poor writing and few sources. My plan is to expand it significantly so that it reaches its full potential, and quite possibly become a featured article like the one on Jason Voorhees. However, for this particular project I will need the help of as many editors as possible since the level of expansion needed would be too daunting for any one or even three editors. Like our other collaboration, I have already created a draft for the use of expanding the article which I will include the link here. Let me know whether or not you would be able to help expand the article on my talk page and see if you can get other people on this. Thanks for all your help.-- Paleface Jack ( talk) 16:55, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
Yeah I know what you mean. Although WP Horror does have some life in it, like my other collaboration, finding active participants is very difficult. On the AfD page it says under "Procedure for non-administrator close (other)":
This gives the impression that non-admins can close as delete, and on Wikipedia:Non-admin_closure#Appropriate_closures, under "Inappropriate closures" it says:
That's the opposite, if I'm understanding it correctly.. From experience, I've found that what the WP:NAC page says is what people normally act on, should the short line on the AfD page be changed to something like:

I have put a request in to get it restored again but in case you are the one that ends up doing the restore, I wanted you know that I did not delete it... very odd.
Thanks for your help :)

Dear Tokyogirl79, I want to create a new page for my client Hrishikesh Pandey (Director), how should I proceed ahead, I have all the details with me in word format ready. Please suggest and help. Thanks in advance.-- Piyushratnu ( talk) 07:23, 30 June 2016 (UTC)
Hi Tokyogirl79, can you please edit this page and make the following change:
{{WikiProject Horror|class=Stub|auto=Inherit|importance=}} {{film|class=stub|needs-infobox=|needs-image=yes}}
to
{{WikiProject Horror|class=project}} {{WikiProject Film|class=project|American=yes}}
This will allow the WikiProjects to track this as a relevant non-article page rather than a Stub-Class article. Thanks! PC78 ( talk) 23:03, 5 July 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for your work on the film AFDs, there's a load more drilled at me on my user talk page! "I'm on a break" as Rachel and Ross would say ;-). ♦ Dr. Blofeld 07:58, 9 July 2016 (UTC) |
Hi, I'm trying to move Balasooriya to Balasuriya as a more common spelling, but the target has been set by you at a pretty high protection level. Would you be able to help with that? Uanfala ( talk) 11:31, 10 July 2016 (UTC)

Hi Tokyogirl79, i am confused (more so than usual:)), an afd doesn't appear to have been closed properly? the revision history of Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Literature shows that on 9 july the afd for No Cross, No Crown was archived by anomiebot [4], but clicking on the entry it appears to still be open - Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/No Cross, No Crown, oh, on checking the afd history i see that an editor has reopened it? [5], not sure why, should we be revisiting it? thanks, Coolabahapple ( talk) 19:05, 11 July 2016 (UTC)
Hi Tokyogirl79, I've just reverted some edits by User talk:24.29.56.4 at The Cat Who Went to Heaven as not useful. on looking at their edit history [6], all of them have been reverted for similar reasons. are you able assist? thanks, Coolabahapple ( talk) 05:01, 13 July 2016 (UTC)
thanks, here is some cake for all your hard work. Coolabahapple ( talk) 09:22, 13 July 2016 (UTC)

I thought that you deserved something a bit extra for all of the amazing work you've done for the project.
I've nominated you for a gift from the Wikimedia Foundation! |
Hi again TG79,
You beat me to the speedy decline. I was writing this speedy decline
in my usual pompous self-important lawyer way calm, knowledgeable and and patient way.
Do you think it is worthwhile to go to AFD about this? Or should we just leave it as it is, and apply maintenance tags where appropriate?

These socks keep coming, and there are so many now that I have filed WP:Sockpuppet investigations/Tshavis to keep track of them. Cheers, JohnCD ( talk) 10:43, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
Hi Tokyogirl79, sorry to be annoying wikikit but (theres always a but:)) can you have a quick look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anis Jouini and User talk:Evadowdinternational, i think there may be some coi going on and so have left messages on the editor's talkpage and mentioned it at the afd, thanks Coolabahapple ( talk) 19:48, 14 July 2016 (UTC)

Hi! Thank you for your review on my page "Sustainable Jewellery". I'm not paid by anyone, I'm doing a college project for my Consumer Culture class and I'm supposed to write a Wiki page for that. I'd like to know if there are some parts that you think should be completely deleted or changed and how. Is the sociological part okay? Thank you.
Hello T.G. it's been a while since I have updated you on the progress of our previous collaboration, I Drink Your Blood.
I am not even going to attempt to find help from WP Fictional Characters since that place is pretty dead as well. Thanks for the suggestion and the help though.-- Paleface Jack ( talk) 16:05, 19 July 2016 (UTC)

You're up, that's good news. i have a favor to ask: I'm doing a preliminary investigation into a suspected sock farm, I see you blocked one of the accounts ( here) related to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rajesh Bhatt. I think the account is tied into the collective. Can you take a look at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Rajeshbhatt director and offer an opinion on the material there? You may catch something I missed. TomStar81 ( Talk) 09:34, 22 July 2016 (UTC)

Hi Tokyogirl79, Could you please help me list it for deletion review for Solidiance? I am confused as to how to do it. Thanks so much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashwinkhan ( talk • contribs) 10:23, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
Hello, Tokyogirl79, I appreciate your work on the page I recently created, " Amazing (Foxes song)." Honestly, I really wanted to name the page, "Amazing (Foxes song)," but that link had already been taken for the use of a redirect. I tried to delete the redirect, but did so unsuccessfully, thus I was subsequently forced to name the page, "Amazing (foxes song)," much to my profound poignance. So I'm just so glad you fixed the matter. And I just wanted to show my appreciation with a kind thanks in return.
Sincerely, >Infopage100. —Preceding undated comment added 07:19, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
