You mentioned posting comments on your talk page and the article, so I'm posting my bits in both places. I hope that's not a problem, but if it is you can always delete me!

Thanks for the contact - I'm glad you found my comments constructive. I put the information you asked about on the Paul Becker AfD page so as to share the knowledge with a wider audience; is there a list of reference resources that's maintained somewhere that this information could be on as well? I also went ahead and added my $453.67 worth of commentary while I was there. (I hope that if my lack of brevity really gets to be a problem someone will say something - kindly, but something!) Thanks. Chidom 00:27, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, I don't have a lot to add, but I made a comment just now. I've tried to work with guidelines before ( WP:PROF especially) and the real problem, I think, is that any rules that imply non-notability should be avoided. Frankly, it's already way to easy to say something or someone or some topic is "non-notable"; we don't need to fuel that kind of behavior by having criteria (like < 100 films) that "imply" non-notability. It should be easy to establish notability, and much, much harder to establish non-notability. Mango juice talk 18:22, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
