Information icon Hello, I'm Dl2000. I noticed that you recently removed content from Proximus Group without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Proximus Group, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Dl2000 ( talk) 00:11, 9 January 2021 (UTC) reply

Edits to Proximus Group

Greetings, and thank you for your message on my talk page about Proximus Group edits.

First, no single editor on Wikipedia is formally responsible for checking content updates here. I have no official Wikipedia role; there are administrators and others with certain roles, but editors may review articles whether or not they are in a designated role. You can review the Wikipedia policies and guidelines for further guidance and information.

A major problem with this edit is that the article had 16 apparently reasonable citations, but your edit made numerous significant changes, only explaining these as "update textes" but 6 of those citations were removed without explanation, and additional sources were not added to support changed/updated information about the company. See guidelines/policies such as WP:V and WP:CITE for further background.

You requested "advice how we can put the modified content online?" - if you are associated with Proximus, then you will need to review Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy as your editing will be subject to this.

Also, you indicate the company's website as a source of your additions. Note that directly copying text from other sources, even if translated, could be problematic as Wikipedia seeks to be a "free content" encyclopedia.

Hope this helps explain the concerns with your edit. Below, I will add a "welcome" message with pointers to other elements of Wikipedia. Dl2000 ( talk) 21:48, 11 January 2021 (UTC) reply
