Hi! Yes, of course I would like to help. It would seem like little or no research was done before the articles were nominated to be deleted. I don't know how the wikipedia system really works, but in the real world, it's normally the case whereby the defendant is innocent until proven guilty isn't it?

Haha, not with AfDs. I've done what I can by adding Google Book footnotes to 7 of the 8 articles. I think they are clearly notable. The one built in 1988 is too new to find sources, so I wonder, can you access Straits Times or something?
Also, here's a couple of helpful tips. Turn your user page blue, you will look better when posting. You can do this in 2 ways, add a REDIRECT in the format # REDIRECT [ [ User talk:Pretty Pig ] ]. Or.. just say "Hello this is User Pretty Pig from Singapore" - it looks much better. I will help you with the churches don't worry.

No it's not. AFD doesn't deal with guilt. Take a step back and calm down. Challenging everyone that is disagreeing with you is problematic, accusing people of vandalism as previously warned is not acceptable as saying an edit war is being waged based on a single revert. Don't take AFD personally, I've written over 85 articles and even a few of mine have been nominated, one I even nominated myself [
[1]] in response to concerns of others. You're best bet to survive AFD is to not be
WP:CONTENTIOUS and calmly state your facts as to why the article shouldn't be deleted. Also read
WP:SNOW if it's a well aimed snowball it can be kept/deleted/merged. Many people here can and will have different opinions of what is notable. AFD is actually your best bet in these cases to get the material kept because it will show whether something is notable or not. I do see you're a new editor and this gets you a little more
WP:ROPE then most but try not to use it all up now causeyou may need some of it later.

In ictu oculi, I'm not too sure how to do that user formatting thing, where exactly do I place it? I was just wondering, how does the afd get decided in the end? Is it a voting system or will the administrator come at a later time to cast his decision? I should probably be able to find news of it in the straits times archives.

Hell In A Bucket, well, I'm sorry if I've offended you in any way. I'm not offended because my entry has been nominated. Rather, I'm more miffed with the fact that the only evidence cited is some wikipedia guide. Shouldn't the nominators be more proactive in explaining why they think such entries should be deleted? Afterall, they're the ones who want the articles to be removed. The onus should be on them to prove their case convincingly. Otherwise it feels pretty insincere.

Oh, that's awesome! Thanks! I'm still learning the ropes. As of yet, I'm still unsure how to place photographs within the articles themselves. Haha
